"A great find! Woodpeckers Cottage offers ideal accommodation for a couple. It is bright, compactly spacious, with a small private garden and parking for one car. It is conveniently located for access to the many National Trust properties nearby and also to the South Coast. On arrival, we found a generous basket of provisions for breakfast and were later welcomed by our host. There are many farm shops nearby and there is a good choice of places to eat. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend this property!"

"Book this lovely, sweet place - don’t pass it by. The sense of calm, beauty and homeliness is evident in every single corner of this house. The host is a very special woman and her two serene, gorgeous dogs are just as special as she is. The house is in the most lovely location in Ardingly village, lots to do here and in the surrounds. I had a wonderful, peaceful stay -and that means everything to me."

"After our last property this was a palace. The location was quiet and serene with lots of deer grazing right up to the property. The property was faultless - clean, comfortable and relaxing. The owners were extremely welcoming. The welcome pack was most generous and welcomed. I am sure we will return in the future."

"We had an absolutely wonderful week at Ridge Hill Manor together with our greater family. The house and garden are beautiful, and there are lovely dog walks from the house in all directions. East Grinstead is only a few minutes drive away, yet the location feels very rural. Conveniently situated for days out at places like Standen House, Chartwell and Glyndebourne. Pete was very helpful and communication easy. The only things we missed were a history of the house (which we got via WhatsApp after asking) and maybe a few more kitchen utensils (like for example a water jug). We would all love to come back!"
