"Overall the updated look was very nice but it is still lacking in certain amenities that would lead to a fifth star from me. The gym was small and lacking even for a hotel gym. Also, there were no complimentary breakfast or coffee options. The pool house area was rather nice though."

"Just left Tilghman Island Inn after a a girl's trip stay. We had the best time. The grounds are beautiful, the room was cleam, bed was comfortable, the pool was so nice, and the morning pastries are delicious. We only wished we had a refrigerator in the room BUT it didn't really matter too much since we were close to the lounge and it was not a busy week. We would recommend this place to anyone and plan to come back again at some point."

"Just spent 5 days at the River's Roost on the Patuxent River. The house was excellent; open kitchen and living area with great views of the river, well-stocked kitchen, BBQ grill as well as a Blackstone. Everything was clean and in working condition. Comfortable bed with great views of the water. Huge shower in the bathroom. Hosts were very responsive and the check-in was simple. There also is a huge dock for crabbing and fishing.We were there during a fierce storm and aside from a few small branches coming down, the house had no ill effects from the wind gusts and heavy rains. The area is also very nice and relaxing."
