"The house and grounds so beautifully curated and maintained by the owner Thierry is an absolute joy to stay in. Wildlife abounds - deer appearing in the field, butterflies, birds of prey, geckos and the star of the show the midwife toad whose sonar like call will astonish! Monein is good for provisions but you may need to travel further afield for more entertainment. "We would not hesitate to recommend this rental. Martine’s communications were always prompt and thorough. We particularly appreciated that she left us breakfast for our first morning having arrived in the early hours. Home made plum jam was such a treat. We were blessed with wonderful weather so made full use of the fabulous pool which Martine cared for, discreetly, every morning. It was nice to have a variety of sitting out areas. "Very nice English influenced clean house. Big garden with all the privacy. Private parking just next to the house. We had very nice chats with the owner. Because of a bit rainy weather sometimes we didn't use the swimming pool much, but the pool was very big and nice to swim in. Thanks Chris and Gill for this lovely week!"

"The apartment was beautiful—exactly like the pictures shown. The whole apartment is modern with very nice kitchen and bathroom. The kitchen has everything you’ll need for cooking—pots and pans, dishes, utensils, etc. Our hosts, John Luc and Cathie were wonderful. They live on the property in a separate house but give you all the privacy you need. If we had a problem on how to work something, JL would respond immediately and come help us. "This hotel is right in theiddle of the old city centre so you can walk every where. We had a corner room with a sitting area, comfortable bed and two large windows that we opened for views and a wonderful breeze way through our room. No need for air conditioning! The staff was wonderful and welcoming, the hotel is charming, the breakfast was a little lacking. We came down at 9:00, breakfast is served until 10:00, and all the tables were occupied or dirty and breakfast items were no restocked so choices were limited. Besides breakfast, everything was wonderful!! "
