"Booming music through the window. I asked to change the room, the duty manager at night gave me the room that was “good enough” but I could still hear. The duty manager during the day was very helpful. Compared to other hotels I have stayed in India so far, it is very good and heaven compared to the mess outside. However not up to the standard of some European or Japanese hotels."

"Excellent location, views of both the Taj Mahal and “baby” Taj. Attentive and helpful staff, hailing taxis/Tuk tuks and negotiating prices in advance. All in all a very pleasant stay."

"Poor cleaniness! The restaurants tables were very dirty and had food stain on them! When asked to clean, the staff only brushed the table off with a soft bristle brush. The bedsheets and towels had stain on them. Literally every single piece. The bathroom toilet paper and tissue papers were half finished. We tried to provide a feedback to the front desk staff on our way out but they didnt seem to care. For a hotel with this price and rating, we expected so much more."

Despite repeatedly asking, no clear explanation or resolution was provided, and they refused to share the CCTV footage that could have helped clarify what happened. This is not just about the loss itself, but about the lack of...

"It was difficult to speak with staff who didn’t speak English. However one of staff had beautiful smile."

"Excellent hotel. Fantastic location. Staff were fantastic."

"Staff and food was amazing. Very family friendly, and location was convenient to the Taj. Highly recommend anyone to stay, reasonably priced."

"Abundance of stains and hairs in bed, pillows, towels, etc. The shower had hot water, but bathroom smelled like mildew/mold and there were stains and rust on all metal fixtures. Only soap provided. Hotel is near Taj Mahal East Gate."
