I didn't spend any time in St. James. But for my brief stay, my impression is that it is safe and quiet.

I have traveled through this area several times in the past two years. There is an excellent winery right if the interstate!

The people in St James were welcoming and social. The gentleman at O'Rielly's was SUPER knowledgeable and gave some great advice. It is just a lovely town and we look forward to our next visit.

I lived here for years but it’s becoming a haven for pill heads(people who abuse pain medication). I’m aware that this problem has become nation wide but I had to move to a place nobody knew me.

Not a lot to do other than wine tasting on a Monday. I went to 3 that are open all week. Found a cool “junk shop” open on Tuesday—Casey’s. Paradise! I found two tools I had need of and a bunch of cool stuff I wanted, but didn’t have the trunk space.
