Search B&B in St-Hilaire-la-Gerard

"Couple of problems , Cash Only ,The owner refused to take a Credit card (I assumed it would be charged through Hotels.com)and only found out afterwards that a couple I just met paid my Bill w/ cash. The price Booked online was $75 per room and they paid $220 .Thats $70 more than quoted ? Thats not all that's shady ,Without my knowledge or approval . I am booked for three more future stays( 2 in Sept and 1 in Dec.). I showed the owner the mistake while I was there and she shrugged her...

"Jean-Francois is fantastic hast. Excellent place for relaxation. Testy home-made dinner. Great conversations with Jean-Francois and guests in the evening. And of course, unique breakfast. Highly recommend!"

"Nice quiet location. Close to town of Alencon. Comfy large bed. Excellent spacious bathroom. Annie allowed us to park our motorbike in her garage for extra security. Fab breakfast served on the terrace outside the room. "

Le petit déjeuner au top, du choix pour tout le monde ainsi que le repas du soir .....une cuisinière hors norme , on s'est regaler de ouffff...... Céline prend le temps d'expliquer les environs à visiter qu'on soit en couple ou en famille avec des enfants bas âges. Répond facilement aux questions posées . Sébastien parle...

"We had a lovely week at St Iven. The rural location meant the peace and quiet was wonderful and was much needed! The gite is spacious and well equipped and within easy reach of some very attractive towns, some stunning scenery and all the humbling history that is associated with the Normandy D-Day Landings."

"We had a very nice stay and the house was well equipped. The garden is large which gave the children space to run around and the kitchen had everything we needed. Most importantly the beds were comfortable! Location is superb if you are looking for somewhere quiet and rural but we did end up driving a lot for attractions further afield. Plenty of parking. When we called about a few issues, the owner came within 10mins and both were resolved immediately. The home-made jam was greatly appreciated....
