"This was my third time staying in this hostel. I booked the same kind of room each time around, and each experience as been incredibly different. Sometimes there's loads of space and other times you can barely get the door open. Sometimes it's really clean, other times the drains are clogged and there are bed bugs. Sometimes the bed pods appear brand new and other times they seem like they're falling apart. It's difficult to tell what mix of things you'll end up with."

"The Liverpool Pod is a highly recommended hostal, very close to Goodison Park (15 matches left!), with a walkable distance to the city Center (the buses for going there are available and easy to use anyway), good amenities, well maintained bathrooms and beds and lovely, hard-working staff; wether it's for a long stay or a shorter one (such as mine), I'll take it again for visiting such an amazing city! "

"Brilliant property! Really clean, excellent checking in and service throughout our stay. Only downside is the information given for parking. We ended up paying £28 because it wasn’t explained to us that it was free after a certain time. Should have cost us £8. Private parking company so nothing reception could do."

"When I arrived I was waiting for almost 30-45 minutes to check if I was aloud inside, I was left alone with no confirmation to allow me inside, The interior was in disrepair, wires could be seen hanging off the wall, the stairs carpets were barely holding together.And as soon as I entered the room I wanted to leave. The windows were broken and held open with toilet rolls, very untidy and the bathroom door was broken. Next time I wont bother...."

"Es una residencia de estudiantes. Al llegar a la recepción no tenían constancia de mis datos y no me habían mandado ningún correo con las instrucciones me dejaron tirado a las 23.30, y pese a llamas durante más de media hora intenté llamar, enviar WhatsApp... Nunca contestaron. Lo más fuerte de todo es que se me han quedado el dinero de las 2 noches y las 2 habitaciones que había contratado y no me lo devuelven. Me han robado."

"Very central and close to everything . Apartment very quiet considering location and had decent sized rooms . The big and only issue I found , was the 1-2 seater sofa bed. The sitting cushion never stayed slotted in and you had to keep pushing it back and not the comfortable . Overall though will be back as great value for money and staff were great ."
