"Very rude customer service at check in. Lady at front desk was vwey rude and mean. Room was dirty. Bed sheets were dirty. Very uncomfortable night stay. "

"We stayed 2 nights during the recent Aug eclipse. Price was great and they had space. We would not stay again unless desperate. Non smoking room smelled like smoke. Bed was not made up on our second day. Sheets did not smell good. Bugs in bathtub. TV remote did not work and had to be replaced. A/C was off when we arrived. It took 30+ minutes to cool the room. It was off again when we returned to the room. We received multiple calls to confirm prior to our arrival. Manager very friendly...

"We had the most relaxing trip at Bells Marina & Resort. Our room was clean, and we loved that the decor wasn’t typical generic hotel prints. Beware of the beds! They are so comfortable they practically suck you in. Everything was convenient to our room. The lake was right outside our door, which couldn’t have pleased us more. "While this location isn’t for everyone, I was so happy with it! We stayed here for a bee keeping class in Holly Hill. Property owner was so nice, the home was very clean, and we were able to bring our 2 dogs! The fenced in front yard was my favorite! I was also really happy with how well stocked it was- tin foil, good pots/pans, comfortable bed, waters & drinks, fans in every room, plenty of dishes, and the water pressure in the shower was fantastic. I also felt safe here. Perfect little getaway...

"Great location on Lake Marion. Dock is set up for fishing and we caught a few big ones. House itself is exactly as described. Maybe not the Ritz, but it's Lake Marion. It's perfect for what it is. Very nice screened in porch looking out over the water. Almost a low country feel to the property and views. About 5 min from 1-95 and 10 min from Santee Food Lion. Bedrooms were comfortable and the kitchen was equipped appropriately. Great location for a golf weekend as well - plenty of decent courses...
