This charming beach vacation home in the exclusive St. George Plantation community features a private swimming pool, spacious decks to take in coastal views and Island breezes, comfortable beachy décor, and community amenities including beach boardwalks, bike paths, nature trails, access to Bob Sikes Cut, fitness center, Olympic swimming pool, tennis and pickleball courts! Just a short walk to our award-winning sugar sands beaches, this property sleeps 12 and is pet friendly, so bring the whole family!

Although secluded in a gated community, Top Sea Turvy Turtle is just minutes by car to local restaurants, nightlife, St. George Lighthouse Museum and playground, fishing pier and State Park. Apalachicola's shops, restaurants and arts scene are just 30 minutes by car, so this property delivers an amazing, secluded location with the best of the Forgotten Coast within easy reach!

The exterior of this vacation home features plenty of private parking, a beautiful private swimming pool with lounge chairs, community path to the beach and enclosed outdoor shower. The fish cleaning station and gas grill are perfect for preparing that Fresh from Florida seafood feast.

A short set of stairs lead to the covered deck overlooking the driveway. Entering Top Sea Turvy Turtle, the tiled foyer greets guests. The laundry room with full size washer and dryer is on the first floor, as well as access to a large deck overlooking the gated, sparkling pool.

Stairs take you to the second floor's sleeping accommodations. The beautiful large king master bedroom with flat screen TV features private deck access, full bathroom featuring a jetted tub and separate shower stall. A bedroom with a queen bed, flat screen TV, and private deck access, and bunk room with a twin/full bunk bed, separate single bed, and flat screen TV share a full bathroom in the hallway.

The third floor of Top Sea Turvy Turtle provides lots of open space for your crew to gather in the comfortable living/dining/kitchen area. The living area, with smart TV provides indoor entertainment options, and the large deck off this living area offers outdoor spaces to enjoy coastal views and Island breezes.

The fully stocked kitchen has lots of counter space and stainless appliances, and the kitchen counter with 4 stools provides a great spot for visiting with the chef in your crew, and the dining table that comfortably seats 8 means there is plenty of room for everyone at mealtime.

The queen master bedroom on this floor has a full bath, and direct access to a private deck. An additional half-bath off the living area on the third floor offers additional guest convenience.

The king bed was firm, which we appreciate. The upper deck always had a lovely breeze and acted as an extension to livable space. Our kids loved pool with the house that is cleaned twice a week. The Magnolia community pool is only a short walk. Beach walk less than 5 minutes. The gear rental credit was used and made packing much easier. Rental agency responsive.

I will also say that Gulf Coast Vacation Properties was very easy to work with. The first home we had booked sold they helped us find this one and booked it right away. The home is an easy walk to the beach. It has a nice gas grill. The pool area was great as well. It had enough parking for our bay boat and 4 vehicles as well, with room to spare. For the money this home is great!

Top Notch at Topsy Turkey!

We were welcomed to a well appointed and clean house. A few issues with the tv’s in the rooms but that was not a big deal. The pool was clean and fun. The walk to the beach was short. The houses at the Plantation are always nice.

We were especially happy with the close proximity to the beach making it easy for us to make several trips there and back (to take snack and bathroom breaks!) throughout the day. We utilized the pool on Magnolia Street often as it was SO close by, as well as swam in our own pool. Our families appreciated having two comfy couches to lounge on each evening and some games and puzzles to try out. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Elopement Vacay

Everything was absolutely wonderful! The house was perfect for our family and friends to come stay with us for out elopement we had on the beach. The location and privacy is perfect. It's dog friendly, which was great for us bringing our great Dane and little dog. It does say it sleeps 14 but there are only enough before for 11, which thankfully we brought an air mattress so it wasn't a problem for us at all. The management group was always quick with responses as well. We frequent St George a few times a year at a family friends home, but after this stay we've already talked about coming back and renting this property again. Overall we had a wonderful experience.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We love the location and the house is perfect for our family. We live in a vacation town and have summer mtn home rental, so I get it. A few suggestions:House needs to be up dates. Screen doors are rusted out and most don’t close or open. Silverware, is cheap along with most of the kitchen appliances. For example coffee pots and small appliances.Frying pans were not usable. The bottoms were black and smoking when out on stove.The small one had so much burnt stuff. I had to buy two new pans and left them there. For $8000 I expect better quality kitchen. The stove also needs replaced cooks hot glass top is all scratched and is probably the reason the pans were a mess. When we rent a house with family we do a lot of cooking. Need to be able to prepare nice meals. The queen mattress in the second floor bed needs replaced you can fell the springs. The king bed was great and the bunk beds. The pool areas is beautiful. A++ for the management company they were fantastic responsive and professional. One last request.. the tile floors, especially high traffic areas need to be throughly cleaned professionally . The grout is black and leaves your socks dirty when you walk around. I also would not if chosen two white chairs for the great room. I thank you for taking my suggestion from last year and providing a vaccum. I did have to clean it out including hose to use. The guys that came to repair the leak were wonderful, they were polite and very aware of our space and the disruption. Thanks Dean!

The lounge chairs were nice, and pool deck got great sun while the shade under the home gave relief when needed. The house was very clean, and the layout was as advertised. The walk to the beach was short, less than 5 minutes. Plenty of parking, kitchen was well stocked, and the wrap around decks were a nice touch. We had a great trip with our family of 8!
