The house is beautiful! Super clean, excellent location. Plenty of towels. blankets and kitchen ware. The elevator is a great feature! The walk to the beach IS only 5 minutes and very pretty.Needs a little better maintenance to broken items (kitchen cabinet door, shower door, front shingle) Would go back without a doubt

The pool and short access to the beach were big pluses. Great to have 5 bedrooms all with their own bath. No hair dryer available in any of the bathrooms and odd that it required us to wash and put all dishes back instead of just loading the dishwasher. Overall quite pleased.

Mini Family Reunion

Was in town for a wedding so decided to get a place near the beach with some other family members. We had the best time. The property was amazing. We felt famous for the weekend. The walk to the beach was quick and scenic and of course the beach was gorgeous as always. Can’t wait to rent again!

Overall property worked well for the 8 of us .Property is a little older and is in need of some upgrades and maintenance . Floors were very dirty ,one of the 5 bathrooms had very low water pressure. The screened in porch was fantastic, although the deckboards had a lot of nails sticking up . Location was close to the beach and front gate . The water was unpalatable, We ended up buy a lot of drinking water.

Christmas in Florida

The house was amazing. Loved the elevator. All the rooms were great. It was too cold for the pool. My only disappointment was NO TV Service for the whole trip

Great stay!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: House was clean and kept is good condition. My only complaint is that they want you to do all the dishes and put them away before you leave, but there was no dish soap there. You have to make sure you budget time to run the dishwasher and be able to put dishes away before you leave.

My stay.

The stay was okay. No TV All Week. The maintenance guy said he has to come to this property a lot for this reason. I suggest the owner get it fixed. Next time I will ask for another place to stay.

Great home for an extended family beach visit

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Beautiful home, well maintained and exceptionally clean. One of the most fully stocked kitchens in a rental I have ever seen! Each bedroom has a bath which was so convenient. The multiple screened in, covered decks allowed for privacy. I would recommend this home to any family looking for plenty of space, nice pool area, with a leisurely 5 minute walk down a nature trail to the beach.

February Snowbirds

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This house had everything we needed for a month’s stay. The elevator was a great thing for us. The Plantation’s biking/walking trails and the nature trails to the beach were just what we were looking for. Because it was February, the bugs were minimal. Pool and its surrounding area was a plus. Thank you Suncoast!

DEGRADED EXPERIENCE

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was very unhappy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Roaches everyday, carpet in master soiled EXTENSIVELY, garbage in kitchen and bathrooms AT CHECK-IN, garbage disposal clogged all week, deck railing LITERALLY NOT ATTACHED AND THEY DID NOT FIX IT. Loved our family time, but this house was a disaster. DONT STAY HERE.

Great house

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We absolutely enjoyed staying in South Wind. The house is everything described in the description. The only downfall that we had was the stairs company off the livingroom going to the 2nd floor was risky for our little ones. Maybe recommend a retractable baby gate in that spot. That definitely is not something that will keep me from renting this lovely home again. Just something we had to stay on top of. I look forward to renting this house again. In regards to Suncoast company...the company and staff are the best and prices are reasonable. Thats what keeps me a loyal customer every year. Thank you for another great stay.

Southwind

Served our purpose well, but there are definitely some ideas for improvement. This is the first VRBO that provided no paper products, dish detergent, and only 2 dishwasher pods for 9 people for a week. Only one dishtowel. First thing I had to do after check in was go back to grocery and buy hand soap, kleenex, toilet paper, garbage bags, paper towels, dishwasher pods, and dish liquid soap. No blow dryer in entire house. Also, pool furniture needs to be replaced. Torn-someone will fall through this, especially if used at night. There is a rusted out table on deck outside dining room making it difficult to eat out there-table leans to one side. Need a map of complex-security told me "we've been out for a while". With these exceptions, and better knowledge to prepare, I would recommend property-it served my family well and gave us each space. Beautiful island, although a hard walk to beach for older residents.

Great Week

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house was in a good location, close to the beach. The beach was nice, and we saw dolphins everyday. There were some small things that need fixing, and there was a problem with the septic system. Management took care of that immediately. My major disappointment was in the availability of grocery stores. Of course the owners can do nothing about that.

Very nice property.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Everything was very nice with one exception. The chairs were very well worn and broken down. Repair people came promptly to fix dining room chairs, but the easy chairs and couches were quite soiled. Those items took away from the overall nice condition of the property....freshly painted. The sheets and pillow cases were nice and fresh...new. but the covers and bedspreads were rummage sale quality.Just enough wrong to not want to go there next year..
