"The staff members were attentive and friendly. The nature and the view from the windows are wonderful. The room amenities need some cosmetic touch-ups and minor repairs, such as the blinds or a missing light bulb on the balcony. I would rate the breakfast as 3 out of 5."

"The stay was ok until I tried to leave. At checkout time I was told that I still owed $8.20 for parking. I almost lost it. As a Hilton honors I never payed for parking anywhere I have stayed. I would really like someone to explain why this happened at a Hilton Hotel."

"We stayed at this waterfront house at Judith Sound from October 9–13 with our family of four and our hound dog. We enjoyed spending time outdoors, kayaking, fishing, playing darts, and kicking around a soccer ball. We spent about 4–6 hours each day enjoying the outdoor activities. Unfortunately, we never managed to catch a fish! The weather was beautiful on our first day, rainy for two days, and then cleared up for another lovely day.Our biggest concern was the number of large spiders around the exterior of the house, particularly near the entrances, as well as downstairs. This was something we found pretty uncomfortable during our stay.We also had an issue checking in because the keypad was dead. We had been told the house would be left unlocked, but it was locked when we arrived. Thankfully, we were able to contact the owner, who provided us with the lockbox code so we could access the spare keys.A few things to note for future guests: there were no laundry detergent pods or dishwasher detergent pods provided, so bring your own. There were also no extra trash bags. Only one bag was available, which was barely enough for our stay, and we would have needed more had we stayed another day.Overall, we enjoyed spending time together as a family and making the most of the waterfront location. With better management of the spider issue, a smoother check-in process, and a few additional basic supplies, the stay could have been even better."

"This is an older hotel that really hasn't kept up to today's expectations for the average hotel guest. But, for the price, I got exactly what I expected, that being a clean room, a place to bathe, a small kitchenette and a place to sleep. The staff was friendly & helpful. For those giving bad reviews for this place, I'd only remind them that this was by far, the cheapest place around. I only paid $64 per night, so I think I got a good deal."

"This house was perfect for a short summer getaway with our family, including our 2 grandkids! The beds were super comfortable and the layout of the house worked perfectly for two couples and a family of 4. The boardwalk in Solomons was lovely with beautiful sunsets. We loved the outdoor sculpture garden, the Calvert State Park cliffs by the beach and the awesome mariners museum. The food at the Pier was outstanding, as was the ice cream shop next to the bait and tackle place down the street. All in all, this was a great visit! Glad we found this house to accommodate us so well!"
