Nestled among native Florida vegetation, this beautifully decorated and comfortable beach home provides privacy and seclusion with family and friends in a fantastic location steps from the white sandy beach, community clubhouse, pool, and bicycle/walking paths! Take a nap in the amazing hammock on the screened porch featuring beautiful teak furniture, or splash in the surf of the Gulf of Mexico and look for shells on the beach. Everything you need, including Island shops, restaurants and nightlife is at your fingertips.

The exterior of this property offers under-house concrete parking, a covered entry, an enclosed hot/cold outdoor shower, a screened porch, a fish cleaning area, a park-style grill, and the shaded beach access path (located next to the home) allows for easy and direct passage to the sandy white beach!

Stairs in the enclosed foyer provide access to the floors above. The first floor features two well-appointed bedrooms that share the east full bathroom. All bedrooms offer private access to screened deck areas. The second floor of this home offers a beautifully decorated open living/dining/kitchen area with sparkling Gulf views. The living area offers plenty of comfortable seating and a TV, and your group will enjoy making memories as you share meals together at the large farmhouse table. An additional three barstools are along the bar that separates the kitchen from the living area. The spacious kitchen is equipped with everything needed to prepare beachside feasts. Beach gear credit is included with this home - book a stay and get your choice of kayaks, paddleboards, beach chairs, and more!

Excellent location in the plantation, we were here for a wedding in the Plantation Clubhouse and the proximity to the clubhouse was great! The house is very spacious and was clean upon arrival. Check in/out were very smooth. I would definitely stay here again!

We LOVED SGI beaches & how pristine waters were!!! It was so nice to have the beach to ur self! We saw dolphins multiple times a day! Paddleboards & floats were a hit! Other than mishaps w house the beach and island itself was awesome! We love the off the beaten path places where u can just enjoy nature & SGI checked all boxes for us! The plantation is great area! We wld gladly stay in area again - different house!!!

From the moment we reserved until the moment we checked out, everything was wonderful. Communication with the property management group, Vacasa, was clear and prompt. Upon arrival, we noted how clean and well-appointed the house was. The layout of the home was perfect for our family (grandparents, parents, children). Such an easy walk to the beach made it nice for carrying what we needed. And, it was a quick walk back to the house if we forgot something. It was easy and convenient to cook meals at the house because of how well-appointed the kitchen was. We would def rebook for our next trip to SGI!

We enjoyed this house with a well equipped kitchen. The big screened porches off second and third floors were so nice. We were a short walk away from the beach via a path next to the house. We used both community pools. Would rent agin if we come back to St George Is

The house was just perfect for our stay. Beach path right next to the house, updated and very clean interior with 2 screened in porches that make the house feel huge! Plenty of space for 10 people comfortably! Outdoor shower was a life saver for tending to sandy kids! Checkout was a breeze. No worries, just run the dishwasher, pack up and leave!

The pros: This house is perfectly located with lush native vegetation and easy access to the beach. The bedrooms, living room/dining/kitchen areas are decorated nicely. We loved the expansive screened in porches that were accessible from the living areas and all bedrooms. The table on the porch provided a great area for extra seating for Thanksgiving. The dinnerware is plentiful, but the flatware needs replacing. In general, the kitchen is moderately equipped. The cons: This house has 6 flights of stairs (six steps each flight) for 36 stair steps and makes loading and unloading and accessing the ground floor rather challenging. For those who have limited mobility, this would not be an ideal situation. There is only one way in or out of this home, begging the question: "What to do if that one escape route is blocked by fire?" The bathrooms need updating badly in all areas. The dryer takes forever to dry a load of clothes. Because the lint filter no longer goes into the lint collection slot properly, I suspect that the lint hose is clogged, making it a potential fire hazard. With a little TLC and an elevator added to the already-in-place shaft, this place would be perfect.
