Beachfront, Plantation, Pet Friendly

Escape the craze and join us for a relaxing stay at DuneStruck on St George Island. The home was built by one of the areas renowned builders and fully renovated in 2015 and featured in the 2016 St George Island Tour of Homes. DuneStruck is the best of an “old world” Florida home while offering the best modern features of a renovated home. From the moment you enter the door, the tasteful wood paneling, expansive views and updated features of this home will start your vacation off right.

The first floor includes the main living area with a large picture window viewing the Gulf of Mexico. The beachside bedroom features a king size bed with its own sliding door opening to the deck. The back bedroom features its own kingsize bed and ensuite bathroom. An updated kitchen includes a large refrigerator, freezer, dishwasher, microwave, stove and an ice maker to save on those extra bags of ice!. The dining room opens to a screened in porch with its own table offering the opportunity for al fresco dining! The laundry room and an additional bath is also on the first level.

The expansive master suite is upstairs and offers it's own expansive views of the Gulf of Mexico. The master bath offers a step in shower, double vanities and a private water closet. There is also a balcony from which amazing sunsets can be watched.

A private boardwalk to the beach is just at the bottom of the deck stairs for only DuneStruck guests to enjoy.

DuneStruck guests may enjoy all the Plantation amenities: community pool, fitness center, tennis courts, and more than 12 miles of paved biking and walking trails. The community pool, clubhouse and fitness center are just a leisurely 2 minute walk from DuneStruck!

Please note that motorcycles and golf carts are not allowed in The Plantation when driven by rental guests.

Absolutely loved how clean the house was! The house was equipped with everything we needed from kitchen pots and pans to puzzles and games for when it rained! The beds were super comfy! The screened-in porch was wonderful for enjoying the outdoor during all weather! The short boardwalk to the beach was super nice! Beautiful views from the windows of the beach and ocean.

Just book it!

Absolutely amazing. 10/10.This was our second trip to St. George and our second time staying in the Plantation neighborhood. And I can confidently say that this was the best vacation we have ever taken. We love how quiet and peaceful it is here. The location alone makes this house unbeatable. It is only about 15 yards from the sand, so there is no need to load up the car and search for parking to enjoy the beach. You can walk right out the door and be there in seconds.The neighborhood is beautiful and full of wildlife. We saw dolphins, fish, and crabs, and even got to help sea turtles make their way to the water in the middle of the night.The home itself was perfect for families. It was spacious, comfortable, and stocked with everything we needed. Honestly, I wish I could live here full time.We would stay here again and again without hesitation. Highly recommend for anyone looking for the ultimate beach getaway.

The Best Vacation We've Ever Taken

Dunestruck is beautiful inside and out with gorgeous ocean views from every area. Everywhere we looked, there were little touches that made this home even more special. The owners have thought of everything. The pillows are even perfect. The beach is steps away and the lounge chairs on the deck were wonderful for early morning coffee and a book. We would return again and again!

Great week

Very nice property, very well stocked for cooking and enjoying the beach. Three couples stayed in this property. The three bedrooms allowed privacy. The screened porch was a favorite feature. We also enjoyed having access to the downstairs storage area for storage of our bicycles. Very close to the community pool and fitness center. Enjoyed dinners on both the indoor and outdoor tables.

we spent the most relaxing week on St. George Island. Biked the island, walked the beach and just generally enjoyed our time. Quiet and tranquil if that's what you're looking for.We will be back!

Great Escape

To look out each day at the beautiful Gulf of Mexico was superb. The house was right on the beach-just steps down the boardwalk. Our host was quick to respond to any question we posed and was very personable. The kitchen and baths were beautiful and very up to date. The kitchen had anything you might want to complete a meal. Absolutely the only thing I would change would be the ability to open the windows(even in February) so I could sleep to the sound of the surf. You will not regret choosing DuneStruck.

The ideal beach house

The upstairs bedroom/bath area is the best! Windows overlooking the beach during the day, and starlit skies at night. No reason to ever close the blinds. The house has all the amenities you need. Clean and comfortable. A bathroom for each bedroom. Well stocked kitchen. This was our second visit to Dunestruck. But I was familiar with the house when friends rented it previously. We have stayed in several homes on the island over the past ten years, but this one is the best, hands down.The owner has always been available and helpful, Thank you!

Breathtaking views

Due Struck was a beautiful location with amazing views from multiple windows in the house. The house had ample space in the kitchen and eating areas. The porch overlooking the ocean had comfortable seating options. A couple of things were in the process of being repaired, but Buck communicated that with us and they didn’t take away from our stay.

Best vacation in years

This is a unique property with beautiful woodwork and attractive comfortable decor. The kitchen was equipped with everything we needed to enjoy many gulf coast seafood meals in the screened in porch. The property's location in The Plantation was conducive to enjoying lots of time outdoors in the beautiful island environment. It was a very restful and peaceful trip with mostly great weather for us.

Picture perfect view!

Sit on the couch in the living room, look out the window, and you will have to remind yourself that you are not looking at a painting. Absolutely beautiful view! So relaxing and convenient to be right on the beach. We loved the house and it was easy to communicate with Buck. We will definitely stay here again.

Incredible location and home.

The wildlife was outstanding and an every day occurrence (dolphins, crabs, manta rays, etc). The area was very safe and had wonderful facilities. We are planning our next trip back.

A Magnificent Location

Of all the many beach houses we have stayed in this one had the best combination of having everything we wanted inside and outside. Inside the kitchen was well stocked and even the knives were sharp! The upstairs main bedroom/bath was fantastic and you can't beat the view. The steps to the beach were as short as I have ever seen. One thing of note - you are right next to a beach access boardwalk where the inland groups access the beach - so you might want to put your beach gear out early so you don't end up with people in front of your house. Buck (property manager) was very responsive and helpful with the few minor things that came up. You absolutely can't go wrong with Dunestruck!

Beach house in a gated community.

This is a very comfortable house right on the beach. Nice walking trails and a good location on a quiet (off season) island. Pictures were accurate . The kitchen was especially well equipped and nicely updated. The mattresses were good. The owner was quickly responsive.
