"I booked not realizing it was an hour from Zion National Park. I felt annoyed when we got there at the ads that popped up when searching for Zion and at myself for not checking the drive-time. When we got there, there was no parking on site unless you pay for valet. I don’t want someone else in my car so we had to park a ways away and walk back at night in the dark with tired kids and suitcases. Insane for such a nice hotel. The room and hotel itself was beautiful, clean and romantic but I thought, for that price, there would be a pool and alas, there wasn’t. The check-in girl was helpful and sweet. She told me we got a token for $10 off drinks and $15 off the gift shop. In the morning when I asked for the token to get a latte I was rudely told it has to be for evening bar even though the person the night before suggested otherwise. She told me they had free coffee but when I poured it, it was not hot. I asked about the gift-shop token but again she was rude and unhelpful and in the end I got neither of these “tokens”. Though the hotel was beautiful and the bed comfortable, I wouldn’t go back. "

"This property posts a sign thinking they're keeping anyone that wears shorts from entering the breakfast area. Instead, if you read the sign properly, it requires you to wear shorts in order to eat breakfast. "No Shoes, No Shirt, No Shorts, No Service!" Think about it. If I don't wear shoes I don't get service. If I don't where a shirt I don't get service. So, logically, if I don't wear shorts, I should be denied service. Either fix your syntax or stop being fuddyduddy about people who wear cargo shorts on vacation."
