"Our family really enjoyed the stay here. Having plenty of bathrooms was great, and the location was very nice. Close to some hikes and the location near Aberfeldy and some other great areas to visit, while being quiet and remote when you want some isolation."

"The location of the property is a bit tricky to fund but its worth the drive as it's set up overlooking Loch Tay surrounded by sheep farm and mountains. The chalet had everything we needed for our 2 nights. Beds were very comfy! We enjoyed the long walk to the beach, very Scottish, very magical!"

"This is a wonderful place and a wonderful lodge. Manager/Owner Cameron was very welcoming and supportive. The lodge is very well maintained and equipped. Many lovely details, including a busy bird feeder on the porch. Free kajaks. We will be back. But: You need a car for this location. We were travelling by train. The place is approx 4 km from Crianlarich station and from the local Londis store, and shopping etc was difficult."

"Booked on vrbo host came to see us not long after check in and said we had got a bargain seemed annoyed told us what we should have paid and then told what we paid . we paid what it came up online so we hadn’t done anything wrong .we are angry at this as the couple travelling with us we had bought for their anniversary gift and Cameron wasted no time in stating price of trip which was very unprofessional. "Wij hebben heel erg genoten van ons verblijf. De vakantiewoning was picobello, met een panoramisch zicht op de indrukwekkende natuur. De gastheer Cameron zorgde voor een warm onthaal en verstrekte ons meer dan voldoende informatie. Het verblijf in Portnellan (chalet Pinemarten) is een absolute aanrader!"

"We had a great time in this lovely Cottage. We loved to watch birds and squirrels on our balcony. We enjoyed playing with the owner´s dog Ralph and canoeing on the loch. Portnellan is a great starting Point to reach almost every destination in the Highlands. Our tip for families ist to do the GoApe treetop challenge in Aberfoyle. Enjoy your stay, we did it."
