. These stylish barn conversions sit in 2½ acres of the owners’ landscaped grounds and is perfect for touring this historic county. The Stables (ref TQA) along with its sister property Little Willow (ref TLM) are nestled in the lush Cornish countryside yet only minutes from some excellent beaches, country walks, National Trust houses and gardens and many other diverse attractions that Cornwall has become famous for. Just minutes from the door is the AONB of Goss Moor, home to an off road cycle trail and various wildlife - bike hire is available close by. Watergate Bay is a must see, with over a mile of golden sand and great surf, the beach and cliffs are dramatic year round. Visit the stunning Camel Valley vineyard, which can be reached by bike along the tranquil Camel Trail that meanders through the countryside from nearby Wadebridge. The Camel Estuary also provides the perfect kayaking opportunity. The Eden Project, the Lost Gardens of Heligan, Fowey and the Roseland Peninsula provide the perfect day out on the south coast, while Newquay with its surf culture, seven beaches and home to Jamie Oliver’s ’Fifteen’ restaurant is just minutes away on the north coast. A short drive along the beautiful coastal road and you arrive at Padstow, home to many restaurants including some Michelin starred chefs and many TV chefs, including Rick Stein’s gastronomic empire. Golf, cycling, surfing and horse riding are all available close by. Shop 1½ miles, pub 2 miles.

Super Accommodation and Location!

My wife and I stayed in the Stables at The Willows in August 2023. It is a very comfortable, well equipped and spotlessly clean apartment overlooking beautiful gardens in a rural location. We had excellent communication with the hosts Penny and Roy throughout our booking process and stay and we really appreciated the welcome pack and flowers in the apartment on our arrival! We would highly recommend this property to anyone wishing to stay a little way from the hustle and bustle of the major resorts in Cornwall. Although both the north and south coasts are easily accessible by car. We look forward to returning!

A wonderful cottage that makes you feel at home from the very first minute.

A wonderful cottage that makes you feel at home from the very first minute. Equipped with everything you need it leaves nothing open to wish for. Roy and Penny are the most friendly and helpful hosts you could imagine, always willing to help but giving you exactly the amount of privacy you like. If you like dogs even just a little, you are prone to falling in love with Buster and will most certainly miss playing with him the moment you leave. There is so much to see in close proximity, be it along the North or the South Coast of Cornwall. A great variety of places of interest is accessible within a half hour´s drive, so the cottage is ideally located for exploring Cornwall. The Stables is centrally located in Cornwall, allowing easy access to all areas. Whilst very local amenities consist of a well-stocked garage shop, Bodmin is only 10 miles away offering supermarket stores such as Tesco, Morrisons, and Aldi. Accommodation wise, the bungalow is modern, well equipped, spotless, and very welcoming, with a very comfortable mattress!! The owners, Roy and Penny, are down to earth Cornish people with an easy-going friendly manner and are always good for a chat. Another member of the family, Buster, likes a pat and play. Our thanks to them for the welcome pack. Like many others, we shall be returning to The Stables next year. All in all......highly recommended.

Hosts Penny and Roy are lovely and welcoming and the welcome goodies were so nice. There were even fresh flowers on the table...... We had an unfortunate accident when my mobility scooter’s came off BUT Roy was a star! Thank you both so much for letting us stay in your beautiful cottage!

Excellent cottage in a prime location. The most loveliest of people who looked after us from day 1. Amazing welcome pack, supplied flowers, prosecco, chocolates for our 1 year anniversary.
