We really enjoyed our stay at the little yellow house. It is very quiet and in a good area. The bed in the front bedroom was very comfortable and most of the furniture fit the era the house was built in. We walked most places from the house.

This very clean house was perfect for our month stay. It was about a mile from town, but there were many places of interest within walking distance. we also rode our bikes to a few places. There were many close beaches to choose from, and we tried them all!. Our stay was easy, and our hosts accommodating. We would stay here again.

Really enjoyed our stay. Very comfortable and cozy place. Our only complaint is there were very limited TV program options. Would have been nice to have more channels or Netflix or even a DVD player.

This 1925 cottage has everything you need and is so close to attractions. I loved it was a short walk to things I wanted to see and do. It was clean, well cared for and well appointed. I would definitely stay here again. Cozy, peaceful, very enjoyable. Comfortable beds. Comfortable couch. Comfortable setting. Loved reading on the front porch. Neighbors very nice as well.

Overall the house was full of amenities. Easy access and location was perfect. The master bedroom mattress was uncomfortable and worn. The bedframe was shaky. The second bedroom could have a lamp of some sort. We would rent again.

We loved our stay here! It is walking distance to historic downtown (less than a mile to Castillo de San Marcos and the city gate). It's practically across the street from the fountain of youth. Shops, restaurants and cafes all around. Charles provides everything you need to make yourself comfortable. He even has beach towels for your short trip to the beach (St Augustine beach less than 2 miles away, the lighthouse even closer than that). We thoroughly enjoyed our time there!

We loved this cozy cottage in a quiet neighborhood. We were able to walk to the trolley station. We loved sitting out on the front porches and reading. It was quiet and calm, which was surprising with how close to the trolley station and main road the house is. The second room is very small - it was fine for kids, but would be small for another 2 adults. The owners were kind and helpful. They reached out to let us know they were available, but did not hover. We had no problems to report, however. We loved the property!

Charles and Darlene are good hosts. The Cottage was as advertised good location and size was perfect for our needs. The Cottage does need some TLC though, but was clean. I am not the type to critique but I was reminded that this is a business so I wanted to make sure my review is as accurate as possible.

Our "little yellow vacation home" was a perfect stay while visiting St Augustine. The early 20th century home gave a throwback feeling to the old city appeal, but of course with all the modern comforts of today. We spent our Thanksgiving weekend there enjoying the full kitchen with all the necessary amenities to cook. The TV over the fireplace was perfect for watching the games. The porch was great for sitting outside for breakfast. Back yard just the right size for our four legged family member. Neighborhood was quiet and nice. Home is situated within walking distance of San Marco and the old city. Ghost tours are everywhere, however if your planning on a walking tour do it with Dion (office right next to the oldest school house) he was awesome. We would stay here again if back in St Augustine.

We arrived on Friday and stayed until the following Friday morning.
The house was exquisite and very beautiful. It made you feel home away from home. Perfect location to access everything that's is St Augustine. Very peaceful and quiet neighborhood. The owner are friendly and very respectful. They always responded quickly when we had a question. We absolutely loved it there and will be back multiple times

Couldn’t have asked for a better location to visit historic St. Augustine. Loved the cottage. Front porch was great to relax after a day of sightseeing.. we lacked for nothing in the cottage. A lot of thought went into comfort.

We have stayed at many VRBOs and always look at cleanliness, comfort and close proximity to area attractions. Cleanliness and comfort get 3 stars, location gets 5.

Everything you need to have a great stay in St Augustine. Comfortable bed, great screen porch and back yard. Walked or used the trolly to get around as the location is close to everything. Would recommend staying here for anyone coming to at Augustine needing some R&R

This cottage was just perfect for our nine days in Saint Augustine. It was so well appointed and had everything you could possibly need. It was extremely clean, the bed was very comfortable, and there was lots of hot water in the shower. The washer and dryer were a big plus too. The fact that it is walking distance to the major sights is big advantage. We did not have to use our car for those excursions. It was also a convenient location from which to reach Anastasia Island and Vilano Beach. We would definitely definitely recommend staying at this cottage. Chuck and Darlene were very good hosts and responded quickly to any of our messages. This is definitely a five out of five star place!

This lil comfy, cozy, cottage iss sooo cute and very well maintained. We want to go back next year! It has 2 bedrooms and 1 bath, washer/dryer, porch, a lanai, dining, and living room. It's located 1 block from the old jail and the fountain of youth and a short work to downtown, historic St. Augustine. We rode our bikes everywhere - even in the rain!
We arrived late after midnight and super tired from the long drive. All we wanted to do was unload the car and go to bed. Once we were ready to turn in, we found the beds and pillows very comfortable. We were able to sleep in with the blackout curtains in the master.
The rest of our stay was great. This cozy cottage has everything! We packed so much stuff for the beach and kitchen but quickly realized we could've left our cooler, beach chairs and beach towels at home. They had a lot of books and games, 2 TVs (smart tv in the living room) and free wifi. There's also a washer and dryer which turned out to be very convenient. We didn't expect to do any laundry, but when we got stuck riding in the rain and had to wash our bike jerseys and shorts, it was easy to throw in our wet dirty clothes from the back door.
The hosts are so responsive and attentive. They answered emails almost immediately. This place has everything you need. We'll just pack our bags and food next time we stay here. Grateful they opened up their space for us and provided a comfortable stay. Thank you Chuck and Darlene!
