"Blue Whale Villa was a great place to stay, our only downsides were that it is a bit far from things on the island, but we were alright with the drive and happy with the place. There was also just a very lightly stocked kitchen, and a few more bowls, or cooking utensils would be nice. Otherwise the stay was great! We stayed here for two weeks and never had complaints about the whole island! I would recommend renting a car if you have multiple days here and want to go to the stuff to the south, as I’m sure a taxi will cost a bit. We had plenty to do on the north end of the island for about 3 days and also spent a couple days just relaxing at the house and it was perfect for that. It felt very safe and the view was spectacular especially if you are willing to wake up around 5:30 for the sunrise!"

"Beautiful site on a cove facing the Atlantic. The staff are great and very knowledgeable and helpful. Leatherback turtles nest in the cove and the staff work with a conservation group to facilitate turtle watching. Excellent place to base our visit in Dominica."

Christine is a kind and attentive host that was very flexible and accommodating with check in times. Lee’s restaurant and bar, Love @ First Bite is incredible and he is a great guy. "Our experience at the Pagua Bay House was great! The grounds, cabana, restaurant, and view of the bay were amazing. We ate most of our meals on-site at the bar and grill. As others have mentioned, we really appreciated the help from Sheldon and Alicia in setting up activities and providing suggestions to explore the island! We would definitely recommend staying at Pagua Bay House on a trip to Dominica."
