"Really enjoyed the stay, bed was comfortable and room was acceptable clean. The staff were all very helpful and welcoming. My only disappointment was the air conditioning wasn’t working and the rooms on the lower lever were a bit noisy with what seemed to be trolly wheels. Breakfast was good."

"We stayed here for one night whilst visiting family. The staff were super helpful and friendly. The dinner was delicious and very reasonably priced. The bedrooms were comfortable with large comfy bed and lovely shower room. Breakfast was first class. We are seasoned travellers and it is possibly one of the best hotels we have stayed in for the price."

"I have to stay in St Albans for work from time to time and Torrington Hall is my favourite place to stay. It has so much more character than some of the soulless hotels I have stayed at in the area. It is well located for the town center and the cathedral. The rooms are generally well presented although, because each is different, some are nicer than others. My personal favourite is St Michael's. The rooms are always clean and the beds are super comfy. Parking is never an issue despite being so close to the center of town. Overall a lovely place to stay in St Albans."
