"No toiletries, didn’t feel safe, it’s in a corner of the town that is hidden and hard to find. It was sketchy. There’s a net on the roof of the bathroom so anyone can come see inside from above; no privacy. People can see inside through the curtains. The staff were nice. Definitely not worth it for the price!!!"

"Opinion of an American expat male. 1. Service: Staff very helpful in helping a new tourist get around Sri Lanka. Breakfast was hearty. If you're unfamiliar with Sri Lanka, do yourself a favor and book the hostel's airport shuttle service. 2. Room was spacious, clean, with working AC, 24-hour wifi, bottled water provided. Bathroom consists of toilet, sink, and standing shower. Nothing luxurious, but a bargain for what you paid for. 3. Hostel is tucked away deep inside a tiny side street. ...

"Beautiful hotel, with a lovely, basic clean room. Comfortable bed and roomy shower. Had a balcony overlooking a roof, but would have been nice to sit outside there if it wasn't continuously raining. Great included breakfast, with lots of choice and lovely serving staff. Did not use any of the other amenities, but the outdoor area would have been nice to use if the weather was more obliging."
