"This is a great location in central Banner Elk and Sugar Mountain if you don't want to drive way up a steep mountain road. We loved it, being from Fla we didn't have 4x4 for the snow and this location was great! The staff is wonderful! We enjoyed the fire pit(s) nightly. Lots of amenities for families. Basic utensils/plates/cups. No spices, sprays. Older but very clean and great set up for 2 adults and 3 teens. Perfect family vacation in a winter wonderland!!"

"We loved it here! I was so cozy and great space for our family. The only thing we were real bummed about was the pool being permanently closed on this property due to structure. It should probably be taken off of the pictures and amenities. The pool was one of the reasons we booked. Otherwise is was a great stay!"
