"This place is back in a quiet neighborhood off the main road. It is far enough away that you dont have lots of traffic, but you can sit out on the private deck area and hear the river. We loved the great kitchen for cooking. They didn’t skimp on the cheapest appliances like some places do. We loved our stay and would greatly recommend this place to anyone looking."

"We very much enjoyed our 2 night stay at Rose Retreat. The room was perfect! We slept well on the very comfortable bed and used the ceiling fan and/or AC as needed. The furniture was high quality as were the linens. The bath was decorated beautifully and the shower was perfect. Our hosts really cared about our comfort. We enjoyed sitting outside in the evening and listening to the birds. Finally, the location was excellent- about 2 minutes from the park entrance. We highly recommend this cabin...

"Cabin was in a very good location. Close to everything, more than big enough for a family of 4. Before booking saw reviews about place not being clear and spider web's. Not the case cabin was clean and yes you saw web's around the outside, you are in the woods. Will definitely try to go back this spring. My family and I felt at home."

"Beautifully decorated and updated home with a great outdoor space to enjoy the backyard river which was in full flow (early May). We enjoyed moving between sitting in the shaded spots of the backyard to watch and listen to the river and also spending time relaxing in the game room with the French doors open so we could hear the river while playing family games together. Very fun and relaxing stay!"

"It might not actually be a cottage, but it feels like it when you walk inside. Roomy, clean, well appointed and decorated. We were on a business trip in Tulare as exhibitors at the AG show so we were exhausted at the end of the day and the jacuzzi was good (it would have been great if it hadn’t been so cold outside…oh well, it is Feb after all!) "Everything was great. Our family really liked the house. It was spacious and comfortable. The kitchen had everything needed to cook family meals and we soaked in the hot tub and played games after visiting Sequoia National Park. Would definitely stay again."

"The home was exactly as advertised and met all of our needs. The location near Sequoia made it easy for our family of 6 to explore the park without having to venture too far at the end of the day. "Visiting family 1 mile down the road. The home was great for accomadating our family from Oakhurst and New Jersey. 8 of us stayed, plenty of room. The kitchen was well stocked and the dining area large enough to host family meals for 10. The listing is accurate, the river was beautiful and the host's were easy to communicate with. We will definitely rent again on another family visit."

"My husband and I loved staying at the beautiful Kernville Ranch. We loved the quiet and the scenic beauty. I loved that the cottage was pet friendly and our dog had the time of her life seeing the amazing horses at the ranch. The community is amazing for hiking and outdoor adventures. "Was unable to make the Wednesday checkin, we were there on Thursday afternoon,On Friday morning in the rain, I was 3 hours out of getting married, and the storage tank for the water ran out and had NO water to get ready for my wedding. It was remedied rather quickly but still had to head down to the venue to get ready…….pre- planning on a water storage tank when you are renting out a property should have been filled prior to our arrival.
