"This second floor apartment was spotlessly clean. The owners were very helpful, the bed was quite comfortable and it is a very cozy little place. The balcony was semi-private. The WC was on the first floor but that did not pose a problem. This is a wonderful area."

"Wir (Paar mit Hund) haben in der Röhn ein paar Tage zum Wandern verbracht. Wir waren sehr von der Unterkunft angetan. Sehr sauber. Die Einrichtung ist eine Mischung aus modern mit historisch restaurierten Möbeln. Sehr stimmig und stilvoll. Das hat uns sehr angesprochen. In der Wohnung hat es uns an nichts gefehlt. "Mein Freund und ich nutzten dies als Ausgangspunkt fĂŒr eine Radtour rund um Rhön. Die Wohnung ist komplett mit hochwertigen Möbeln ausgestattet. Die Gastgeber waren sehr höflich. Der Ort selbst liegt sehr ruhig, der nĂ€chste Supermarkt befindet sich in einem nahegelegenen Ort (Ostheim), wo es auch eine sehr gute örtliche Brauerei (Strecks) gibt."

"Hotel Herzog Georg is a real gem hidden in rural Germany. The size of room is larger than a standard European room and we were very happy to have 2 large size doubles for my wife and 15 yr old son. Breakfast was massive European style and quality was superb. Lots of walking opportunities around town with site seeing and hiking just a short drive away. A couple notes, not much English spoken here, or in town at all. People were extremely gracious and we didnt have any issues, but just be aware. Also there are limited hours for the reception and if you think you will even be close to showing up after 7pm local time, reach out and coordinate how to get room access. We did not do this (our fault) and struggled to get ahold of the reception after hours with our US phones. Overall I would def stay here again if I was coming to the area."
