"I stay was nice for the one night. We did have two nights booked, but we had a family large emergency and had to leave to try to catch an early flight – we also missed our opportunity meet with our realtor that day to show us property, which was the reason we went to Aiken. However, we understand the 48 hour policy things do happen and it wasn’t emergency. It wasn’t like they were lacking business and had a memorial weekend coming up. We were told we could only get a credit when we ever return....

"It is a fitting place to stay in Aiken as it reflects the atmosphere of this horse training, golf, and traditional city. Somewhat hard to locate it was in excellent condition with a friendly and attentive staff and a dining room set on one of the putting greens. Comfortable bed, a good but not great breakfast and very reasonable price."

"This is a GREAT spot for a family get together - we had 6 adults and 2 toddlers and a baby. Stepping across the street for play romps in the gorgeous Hopeland Gardens made a big get together with young ones so much easier, and it's just blocks away from historic downtown Aiken. The cottage is so much larger than it looks in the picture - tons of room and bedrooms super comfy. Exceeded expectations and what a fabulous price."

"The AC seemed like it had basically two settings even though I tried to set it in a medium range. It was either too hot or too cold. Some instructions with it would be good or maybe a wall mounted thermostat. The pocket doors seemed quaint at best. Not that I don't like pocket doors but these could use an upgrade. I liked the ease with which I was able to stream video via my phone to the TV. The lighting in the unit was great as was the WiFi signal. I would have stayed at this location...
