"In the morning if you enjoy bird watching please go to the east front patio. Put on your Merlin app. And see how many lovely birds join you while drinking your coffee. Next time we go we will be getting up earlier so that we can enjoy the sun and birds. The view is so lovely and listening to the wind travel through the mountains is just so wonderful. Not hearing traffic is just wonderful. And star glazing is soooo special. Thank you Kimberly and staff for providing such a lovely unique...

"I have stayed in log cabins before, real log cabins not prefab stuff so I know what a pain they can be maintenance wise. the logs twist and turn, its just what happens. we had more than a few drafts, but the heaters kept us warm. everyone slept well in the beds. the pond behind this place is an awesome sight in morning. it had a bunch of Canadian geese and ducks on it every morning. I took my kids and my grand kids skiing at Sipapu, they had a blast. drove up to Eagle nest in a pretty good snow...
