"We had a lovely winter getaway for a couple of days, and especially enjoyed the enormous hot tub. The walks nearby are great, but please note that cafe listed as being 2 mins away no longer exists, so you do need to drive to get food or walk the 6km or so one way to the Waikino Tavern. The house is old, but well kept and clean except for a funky smell in the rear room. Overall we had a great time and would recommend to anyone :)"

"The Shed was roomy and comfortable with great entertainment (pool table, games, tv, books, feeding the animals), good breakfast provided, a lovely park next door and so close to town (lots of dining options) and also handy to Hobbiton, golf, hot pools. Maria was an amazing host who went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and was so helpful with our dogs - we really enjoyed our stay."
