"This simply adorable villa met all our needs. Location: We were in town for a wedding at the Starved Rock State Park which was literally less than a five minute drive away. We went back and forth multiple times throughout our stay. The villa exudes comfort with its many luxurious and fine touches. Anita was prompt with her communications and her directions on how to weave our way back in to the villa were spot on. We highly recommend this villa."

"We knew we loved the area and had stayed in another cabin previously but this one was far nicer. Upon arrival we could tell the property was cared for and much cleaner. We all loved the cute fall decor that gave us all the homey vibes. The kitchen had a great selection of cookware. We will definitely be back and chowing this property!"

"The host for this is lovely and so very accommodating. We had a few concerns early on that were very quickly taken care of. She called to let us know all the things that we could do in the area also, which was much appreciated! We had a great hike at Wildcat Canyon and enjoyed several meals out and some good shopping. Grand Bear as a resort was not the friendliest as far as staff goes, but our experience with this VRBO was wonderful. Highly recommend :-)"

"At first glance, this neat little two bedroom ranch style home, looked like it would fit our needs perfectly. We stayed two nights. During the first night, I woke from a sound sleep by a disgusting, putrid smell that was permeating from somewhere in the bedroom. "Nice place. Awesome location for a Starved Rock Adventure. Only issues…(1) Need better/bigger cooking pans, (2) all the screens fell off when we opened, and (3) had some late night partiers the last night of our stay. Wasn’t sure how to contact someone that late (3 am) to shut them down. Would definitely stay again, but would inquire about protocol for addressing the quiet hours non-compliers. "

"First, let me say this is not a cabin. The listing was a bit misleading if you are expecting a cabin, this is a townhome. That being said, it was lovely! Overall clean and well kept. The only thing we didn't use was the whirlpool tub as it didn't look clean. If you plan to do any cooking, the supplies are pretty basic (no baking sheets) but for stovetop cooking we were all set. None of that is said to dissuade people just to be informative. We would DEFINITELY stay here again!"
