Brandon did a stellar job at the front desk with a 100% score on the check-in and the security guard was nice and friendly not questioning us with the Sold Out Tonight sign having reservations. "Love this cute little motel. I’ve stayed here 6 or 7 different times while my son was a student at SDSU. The Lamplighter Inn is consistently immaculate- honestly, the grounds and buildings are so well-maintained. The breakfast is basic but good, the laundry facilities, water dispenser,& vending machines are available 24/7 in a secure room next to the lovely, shaded pool area. Parking is plentiful and free. There are several good restaurants within easy walking distance "
