"Parking is fine. Very clean room. Good breakfast. I stay here whenever I travel through this area."
Best Western Shippensburg Hotel

"The hotel was nice and clean. Staff was very friendly. The breakfast was great. Only negative would be that the mattress was a little hard, and the blanket was thin. But overall a very nice stay."

"Following up on an earlier post. About 2hrs after we had checked, my wife realized that she had left her ear rings in the room. She called and they had already tagged them to contact me about leaving them behind. Great hotel"
Tru By Hilton Shippensburg
8/10 Good
"We love staying at Tru by Hilton. This property is brand new! Great location and not too far from Gettysburg. The staff were super helpful. Since the property is brand new there are a few bugs they are still working out. 1. Like a fire alarm that went off in the morning. No harm, but that made it memorable. 2. Also our teens heard a high pitched ringing noise at various times. We called to the front desk and they said others had also complained about that and we could be moved to another room if we wished. They stuck in their ear buds and were fine as we were already unpacked and eager to go to bed. My husband and I and our older ears could not hear the high pitched noise. For the price, it is a great value. The breakfast was good. Lots of topping options if wanted. There are no microwaves in the room but there is one available in the lobby. And the ice machine worked. Lots of convenient options. Also, they have a pool table and games you can use. That was a fun perk. The staff was very kind. We were there three nights but they had no cleaning service come. They do have a note on the mirror that cleaning will come every other day, but they did not come. Other than that...it was a very comfortable stay and I highly recommend it."
Courtyard by Marriott Shippensburg
10/10 Excellent
"Loved this hotel!! It was right next door to the venue, friendly staff at the desk and bar! Loved having a bar right off the lobby!! Room was clean and well designed and decorated. Parking was plentiful. Had a bistro right across from the front desk. Looking out our room window was a beautiful courtyard with lots of seating area and a fire pit— just a great place to sit and chill. Wouldn’t hesitate to come back again!!"
