"This place was very convenient. It was close to everything. Walking distance. And the room was clean. They have a microwave in the lobby for use. And a yard and patio you can hang out at."

"Good location, close to restaurants and within short drive to downtown Newport. Wish the hotel had a formal restaurant or a bar on the premises. There was an area to grab quick breakfast, but it was minimally stocked. Overall we enjoyed our stay. The pool and hot tub provided enough entertainment after a day of sightseeing."

"The property is an old motel that has been meticulously refurbished and tastefully decorated. The room is smaller than a modern motel but is very functional and pleasant. The outdoor pool was a very pleasant space and well maintained. The staff was very pleasant, informative and helpful. Unlike many many modern facilities, housekeeping maintained the room daily. If I return to the area I would surely stay at the Colonial Inn again."
