"This is a very old Victorian style house. It has noisy steam heat; barely working locks (some don't work at all), and sketchy electrical. We booked 2br/2ba, which got us the 2nd and 3rd floors (host lives on the 1st floor). Furnishings are old; kitchens are functional, but that's it. Water pressure was VERY low. The host is an extremely nice guy. He owns a small restaurant nearby that serves really delicious food and AWESOME shakes. The ad says that "off street parking is available". That's...

"The apartment was well appointed and nicely decorated. Pay attention to the host's reiteration regarding the stairs. The stairs are steep, so just know that. I would not recommend for families with small children; middle school and above would be ok. This is becuase of the steep stairway. There really is no way to secure that area.
