"Lovely old hotel, gorgeous common areas upstairs and thoughtful coffee/tea service available throughout the day. All the staff we encountered were pleasant and helpful. The breakfast was good, but was not served in the hotel itself, but a block down the street. We ate one night at the restaurant in the basement, the Unicorn???, and that was really a nice surprise. The area itself gave us pause at first, we weren't certain we would be safe as we walked to and from the convention center at early and late hours, but we didn't have any issues, and our car was in secured parking. All in all it was a nice surprise!"

"Very clean room. Comfortable bed. Breakfast buffet was very good. Good location in the valley. I forgot to request the quieter side. Our room had freeway noise. Very nice staff"
