"Beautiful setting in a small village.

about a 10 min car journey. Fabulous pool and good quality sun loungers. Well equipped villa with everything you need to cook or BBQ. Great local, friendly taverna 2 mins walk away. Host Manolis was so helpful, responding to any query very quickly and providing us with lots of Cretan specialties and treats. We had a great stay - wish we had booked for longer !"

"It was just what we wanted, in a small village, but in very short distance to Kolymvari and Chania and to several nice beaches, a wonderful pool and beautiful plants in the garden, shady places to sit and have a glass of wine. Very comfortably, the villa has air condition to help you cool down at night. Most importantly, Manolis was a most friendly and helpful host. I am only disappointed that we could not stay longer, but we hope to be back... next year?"

"We spent in May ten days in Apithano. The tasteful renovated house (it is almost a new house) is very comfortable, very clean and very well equipped. The surroundings are very quiet and peaceful. It has been for us an ideal starting point for exploring the west and south mountains and the beaches. After one day of hiking, we appreciated so much a rest day at the house, just sitting on the terrace enjoying the mountain or the
