"Being a family that appreciates and grew up in the country, The farmhouse made us all feel very much at home away from home. It accommodated my parents on the main level with ensuite bathroom and air conditioning, nice to spoil them after all these years. The upstairs, my sister and her son had two rooms to themselves and my wife an I had a beautiful room to call our own. There are additional rooms upstairs if we ever wanted to bring more quests on our return trip, which we will definitely do. The nice claw foot tub in the upstairs bathroom was a highlight for those wanting some time to relax and decompress. Playing catch on the front lawn with my nephew and father was a great way to spend an afternoon. We even enjoy a few games of washer toss. One of the highlights for us was the beautiful patio with lots of seating and a nice breeze throughout the day while we enjoyed cold beverages and freezies. The kitchen had everything we needed to make delicious meals for everyone throughout the weekend. Nice quiet neighbourhood made for some enjoyable evening strolls along the vineyards perimeter road. The horse lover in our group (Mom) was excited to see a horse event next door, she was able to enjoy watching from the patio. If you arrive around early July there is a stunning Cherry tree with the sweetest cherries we've ever had. I am not sure how to describe how perfect this place is for a group or family, but it is. "This is a place that you have to see to believe. It’s almost impossible to describe it, especially when I start off with “it’s a barn”. There is no lack of things to keep any age occupied, and the addition of the hot tub was a huge bonus! It’s definitely one of a kind, and we will definitely be back! "
