"We always enjoy our stay here. Imani, the front desk clerk, is such a delight to talk with. The mattresses are getting a little saggy, but the historic charm and comfort of the hotel is always on point. We appreciate being able to walk to restaurants and the convenient locations to drive to whatever we need. We were bummed the Swamp Fox closed an hour earlier than advertised, though. "

"A comfortable stay with friendly staff"

"The tub had what looked like grout on the edge and by the drain in the tub. No big deal. We just wiped it out. The staff was pleasant and helpful in locating our room. The room was clean with a large refrigerator and microwave. No decaf coffee offered, but that was no biggie either. The bed was very comfortable. We will definitely stay again on our ventures to visit our new great-grandbaby due in February. Parking was rightvat our door."

"The home was just the right size and very homey. It was convenient to get to shopping and going to the areas we wanted to check out, like Blue Ridge Parkway and the Skyline and also checked out the Apple House. Just some day trips. We also went to Mount Airy "Mayberry", which was fun. "

They had coloring books for the kids (that I mentioned were coming in passing after the owner messaged me upon booking) and extra towels without us having to request it. Room was very clean. Has a great view. Fantastic customer service…and we haven’t even had the homemade cinnamon rolls yet. "
