The property was perfect for what we needed. A great location between the parks, and comfortable accommodations. It was very clean and had the pots and pans we needed for light cooking.

Actually, my wife and I only needed someplace to lay our heads at night, so we really didn’t need a lot of extras. The home appears to be the parsonage of an older church building. Kinda cute. If you have kids or larger pets, you may have issues with the small yard space and the proximity to the road. As a plumber, I notice different things. One of the shower faucets has a bad, improperly installed cartridge and is difficult to adjust. Otherwise no complaints.

Son and his family recently moved to Sparta, staying here allowed us to visit with them and put no stress on them.

Loved this property. Very clean and beautiful home. Did have to message the owner to ask about access to the creek, got a response very quickly. Very quiet, big enough for a large family! We traveled about 4 hours to visit Fall Creek Falls, will definitely return if the opportunity arises!

We stayed 2 nights in the property. We explored Fall Creeks Fall and Twin Falls at Rock Island State Park. Both waterfalls were beautiful. The house we stayed was very cleaned and spacious for our family of 7. The location is within reasonable distance of both state parks.

The best part was the shower where both shower heads worked at the same time. It was a cute house. I suggest you make a stone walking path to the back where the fir pit is to keep people from walkin in mud. Also let future guest know that there is absolutely no cell phone service to make sure they save the instructions on how to get in pr put the wifi pasword on the door. We had to go in to town to get service to retreave the code for the door. As a bnb owner we strive to make sure there is soap shampoo, coffee sugar and basic creamer so customers dont have to go find these simple items while traveling. 5 star

The house had great space for us and we enjoyed the coziness of the living room. Unfortunately, the outside space was not as cozy. The grill had a wasp nest in it and it was a long walk to get to the outside space, so cooking out really wasn't an option. We were really disappointed with that part and spent no time out there. The description also mentioned a creek and trails, which I'm assuming are part of the main property. Since this house sits in a different part, an invitation and directions would have been helpful. We enjoyed our stay, but had to adapt our plans based on the outdoor space situation.

My team travelled from all over TN and KY to film in Sparta and we needed both a comfy place to sleep and a beautiful place to film. Cunningham Cabin fit both, and they allowed "events" which meant we were allowed to subhost the entire cast and crew while we worked. Communication with Kathy and her team was effortless, and they were happy to oblige our crazy ideas as we made our Christmas short film at the cabin and the beautiful creek on their property. Check in and check out were painless. The only downside was the creek is into the property a little ways and there's stairs leading down maybe 40'. Carrying movie equipment up and down the stairs made my legs hurt, but whose fault is that? My fault. So Cunningham Cabins and Kathy get 5 stars, me not working out my legs so they get sore walking up stairs gets 2.5 stars. Haha. But seriously: very cozy cabin, lovely host, out-of-the-way location, and beautiful Middle Tennessee scenery. Recommended!

This place was exactly what my family and I needed to have our own space, cook our own food, and just relax together! It was super helpful to be able to do a couple loads of laundry, and have separate spaces: den vs. living room, for different activities.
A perfect distance between State Parks and our friends we came to visit. Thankfully, the road it's situated on was not super busy and we were able to enjoy walking the back of the property, with creek and such.
As an aside: we opted to use the oven instead of grill as the propane was not set up and the heating element was pretty rusty/grill needed cleaned out, etc. But good selection of pots/pans, dishware & utensils - even Keurig type coffee machine!

This property was amazingly clean. It is centrally located to everywhere we wanted to see. Unfortunately for us, it rained most of the time we were there so we couldn't do some of the falls as they were closed, though we did get to see some amazing landscaped areas. Thank for the kindness with snacks, coffee and water. We enjoyed our girls getaway!!
