"The house was excellent for visiting the Co-op Live arena, 15 minutes walk max. The house itself was a little lacking, it was old and could do with an upgrade. The ceiling lights upstairs didn't work which was dangerous as the stairs were very steep. I don't think very good for older people or families. There was no table to sit at to eat and no chairs just the bed settees which were very low. I wouldn't have liked to be there for more than the one night"

"Beautiful clean excellently equipped house in Matlock. Great parking, exceptionally clean. Large and spacious with an amazing kitchen and beautiful bathrooms. Lots of hot water. Great communication. Only downside for us as seniors was the very hilly area. We love to walk but the high location of this lovely home meant we preferred to drive, and therefore park, to visit the town. Beautiful house. "I kept calling the owner to ask if everything was good over the span of a month and when the day came to go to the house the owner said he had double booked. So me and my friends had to pay extra to book somewhere else. Highly unreliable"

"Excellent property for a large group of adults to explore the Peak District. Six en-suite rooms equally sized so no-one gets the small room! Kitchen/dining area easily accommodates the group and is well equipped. The lounge is enormous and has great views. Loads of walking from the Chapel or a short drive away. Pictures/description of the property can't do justice to the wow factor. Would definitely recommend."

"The house is beautifully decorated and has all the mod-cons you could need. The living area was spacious and there was plenty of seating for 4 adults and a child. There is also a nice desk area that my daughter enjoyed doing her drawings. The Wifi was strong throughout the house and was good enough to stream on multiple devices at the same time. The kitchen had everything that we needed. The fridge stocked with milk and butter, and the coffee machine was stocked with capsules which was a lovely...

"Fantastic trip with family. Lots of walking and days out. Tideswell is lovely. Lots of pubs, a cafe and a couple of restaurants.Also a Coop in village and a couple of fish and chip shops. House is ideally placed. Easy parking and everything you need in cottage. Would love to go back."

"The accommodation was very clean and modern-looking. Its situation is ideal, very quiet yet handy for Sainsburys, the restaurants of Didsbury and the many parks in the area and away from the busy main road into Manchester. The kitchen/diner/living space was on the small side for a family of 3 boisterous children.but they enjoyed themselves nevertheless. "
