"Older dated property. Large Weeds in outside beds. Lobby orderly and clean. staff welcoming, friendly and efficient. Room clean, orderly but dated and a bit beat up with a bit of a musty smell. Comfy bed and warm shower Hot coffee ready to go first thing in the morning."

"Hotel only open 2 weeks so everything is new. My biggest complaints are one of the elevators was not working, long wait to ride; ice maker on every other floor, one on the first floor not working. I also wanted to take breakfast to my room, no trays to carry several items. Otherwise every thing else was perfect!"

"The views were impressive and the place was clean with a great layout that worked for our family. Our kids enjoyed the mushroom trail. It was very easy to check in and all information about the property and surrounding area was easy to find. Great place to stay!"

"The staff was wonderful and very helpful. The beds were comfortable and clean. The bathroom needed some help. The tub looked dirty, but I think it was just stained. At check in they had mentioned that they were doing some renovating. Once suggestion I thought would be to replace the tubs with shower stalls. Overall, I would stay there again."

"Wild, Wonderful and Almost Heaven. The WVA tourism board must have been thinking of this property.Evan was exceptionally responsive to any question right from the start and there were no surprises (okay the fishing right infront of the house was even better than Evan advertised so there was one surprise)Check in was exceedingly simple. The house was very clean and well maintained. If you are looking for something in the middle of everything this is not for you. If you are looking a quiet place with fantastic river views and no neighbors (I was able to see 1 house from the porch but it was almost a half mile away on the other side of the river and I had to use binoculars) in one of America's Best Kept Secrets National parks this is exactly the place for you."
