We were met by a tall young woman who was very welcoming and friendly and I was invited to complete details into a machine, then asked to pay the cost of the accommodation there and then. "Worst experience ever at a hotel. To begin with we were handed the wrong keys for our rooms and given NO keys for entry into the actual building. This absolutely ruined the weekend as we were forced to sleep on the streets. We woke up and returned to the hotel with a cold and was given no apology or explanation just was told the door is now fixed and to turn the handle the other way. "We were only staying for a few days but they couldn't have been better. Our hosts, Graham and Debbie, made us feel very welcome and they couldn't have been more helpful. The annexe itself was perfect for the two of us and our dog. It was very clean and comfortable and it had the added advantage of a beautiful and secure garden. The location was ideal because it was very quiet as we are used to living in a village. Definitely to be recommended."
