"Hotel room was big and spacious. Loved having restaurant connected to lobby. Kids enjoyed pool and gaming area. Breakfast was definitely lacking as others mentioned. But if in the area, I would stay here again! "

"Historical spaces inside the Hotel were fun to investigate and provided an insight into the history of the property and its role in the city of Red Wing. Restaurants onsite were very good. Proximity to AMTRAK makes for an interesting commuting option. Train noises were loud at times. Quirky property overall, mostly in a good way. Overall the rates are a bit pricey. That said we will likely return when we can get a deal."

"We have stayed at quite a few hotels in our numerous trips to Rochester. This one is by far my favorite so far. It was very clean and comfortable. There was a nice bathroom with a really spacious shower. There were the large containers for shower gel, shampoo and conditioner, so less waste! The staff was VERY friendly and helpful, which is possibly most important. The thing about Rochester is that very few people visit there for fun and recreation. There is a very distinct reason to be there. When we are there, it is always, always stressful. The staff at this hotel seemed to go above and beyond to be helpful, which is incredibly welcome during our stays."

"The hotel location was perfect for us. Not in town but lose enough to drive to the far end of town in 20 minutes. Since it was south of the town it was quiet for sleeping. We didn't hear any noise from the hall or the rooms around us. There are dining options close (walking distance) or if we drove within 5-10 minutes away. Also if someone wants to see a movie there is an IMAX theater walking distance from hotel. We had a great stay for the night."
