"Lovely room. Daughter slept well on the sofa bed. I slept like a log in main bed. Aircon. Nice and clean. Great bathroom, and staff very friendly and helpful. Bus stop opposite into town. Cheap Uber to the Amex Stadium. All in all a great stay."

"We had a lovely few days in the Beach House. It is comfortable, clean and well equipped with many thoughtful touches. Made us feel immediately at home. A great location and fabulous sea views. Carol and Simon wonderful hosts. Helpful, accommodating and always wanting you to have the best possible stay. Will definitely stay again when back in the area."

"It was amazing. We paid for a cosy room, and it certainly was. The sloping beamed ceiling required you to maintain your concentration when manoevering around the room. Nice touches were the edible treats to welcome you. "

"Well what a little gem of a place! A colleague suggested we book it for a recent trip and I was not disappointed. The staff are amazing, you are welcomed and treated like a person not just another guest. I have a nut allergy and the resturant staff need no reminding once I had asked once. The rooms are wonderful and the little piece of treasure is a great surprise. Will definetly stay again for business or pleasure."

"It was lovely being at the Alfriston and getting to know its town. The pool outside was definitely the highlight and the sauna and steam room installations were excellent. The interiors were lovely and the breakfast was top notch!! Would highly recommend! Just be aware if you don’t have a car, it’s a bit of mission to get to Alfriston…there’s a bus but only runs at specific times."
