Parts of this characterful Grade II listed property dates back to the 15th century, with some later additions, mainly in the 17th and 18th centuries. It is steeped in history, and was formerly a pub, a school, a place for the manufacture of bespoke bricks and tiles, and also a doctors surgery. Winchester, Southampton with its shopping centre and the New Forest with extensive heathland walks, riding and cycling opportunities are approximately 40 minutes away. Historic Chichester with its cathedral and festival theatre, the city of Winchester, beaches at West Witterings or Hayling Island, the Watercress steam train, Jane Austens’ House, Gilbert White’s house and Birdworld, Marwell Zoo and Peppa Pig World are all easily reached. Please note the hot tub is only available between the hours of 9am – 9pm. We respectfully ask that guests adhere to this out of respect to our neighbours, and to keep noise to a minimum. Please do not bring music/speakers into the garden but feel free to enjoy music inside the house.
