Das Cottage war sauber, gut eingerichtet und bot Platz genug für eine Familie mit 2 Teenagern. Das Cottage ist gut gelegen für Ausflüge nach Exeter, ins Dartmoor und die ganze Umgebung. Allerdings braucht man, ein Auto. Gerne empfehlen wir diese Unterkunft weiter! We felt very comfortable in this cottage. It started with the welcome...

"Absolutely lovely. The accommodation is excellent - a superior barn conversion. Really fabulous on a working farm. Hen Curtis was very friendly as well as her dogs Fido (retired sheep dog) Jumble mixed Labby/Poodle, Pinto young sheep dog. All love a good bit of stroking (not Hen!!!!). Relaxing place to be with great walks on and around the farm. Not to be missed."

"The cottage was very clean and nicely furnished with some lovely welcome treats upon arrival. It was also a lovely quiet place. The only downside, personally, was we would have preferred a small table and chairs near the foot of the stairs over bar stools at a breakfast bar. Being able to use the log burner would have been nice but with a thatched roof, we understand the dangers of that."

"A perfect get away with the family. Clean, tidy and everything you need in an amazing area of Dartmoor! Excellent communications with host and a stress free stay - ideal short break away!"

"The bedrooms were perfect for 3 or 4 friends to share. The kitchen had everything needed. Its almost next to a pub with other lovely pubs within 10 mins drive. It was quiet and peaceful. "

"We had a lovely peaceful weekend away here. Lynda was very welcoming even though we arrived 5 hours late due to motorway closure. Nice secluded woodland for the dogs to roam about in. Well equipped cottage and comfortable beds which is always a bonus."

The location is stunning with fantastic views out across Dartmoor and direct access within minutes to some of the best walking in North Dartmoor.
