We would love to welcome you to Gillies Getaway, a very comfortable home only a short stroll to the beach and restaurants. Gillies also welcomes your furry friend to come away on your family holiday.

Gillies Getaway will be your home away from home while you enjoy beautiful South West Rocks and surrounds. For your added comfort Gillies has reverse cycle air conditioning and the added bonus of WIFI.

The three bedrooms all have ceiling fans for those warmer evenings. Two of the bedrooms have a television so everyone can watch their favourite programmes.

Open plan lounge, dining, and kitchen area. The living area spills out onto a sunny deck at the front of the house, a lovely quiet spot to sit and enjoy a good book.

The lounge room has reverse cycle air conditioning and ceiling fans, sit back in the comfortable lounge and watch your favourite football game on the large flat screen television or watch a DVD from the selection supplied.

Brand new kitchen, with two brand new bathrooms and laundry.

A large covered deck area off to the side of the house with a bar fridge, BBQ and outdoor furniture.

After a fun day spent at the beach wash off under the outdoor shower.

Fully fenced yard, enjoy a game of backyard cricket with the kids and bring your boat as there is plenty of room.

Under the house is a lock-up storage area for your fishing gear.

While we ensure that all beds are equipped with mattress protectors, pillows, pillowcases, quilts, and quilt covers, we kindly ask guests to bring their own sheets, towels, bath mats, and tea towels. Additionally, guests are expected to provide their own laundry detergent, dish soap, personal soap, and toilet paper among other personal necessities.

Whether you love fishing, swimming, snorkelling, surfing or taking in a bit of history at the Trial Bay Gaol or Smoky Cape Lighthouse, this is a great place to escape and is the ideal family retreat by the beach perfect for year-round swimming.

South West Rocks is popular as a holiday destination for its variety of beaches including Horseshoe Bay, Main Beach, Little Bay, Gap Beach, North Smoky and Smoky Beach. Beginners and experienced surfers will both find waves to suit them or take a surf lesson with Trent Munro Surf Academy.

Fish Rock Cave, 2 km offshore, is one of the best cave dives in the country, a 125-m passage through the centre of a small island, with an amazing variety of marine life including grey nurse sharks, turtles and spotted eagle rays.

The area has a rich heritage set on cliffs high above the sea, Trial Bay Gaol was built in the 1880s to house prisoners and then as an internment camp for Germans and Austrians living in Australia during World War 11. Smoky Cape Lighthouse is one of the oldest, and tallest lighthouses in NSW.
