"We had a wonderful visit at Casa De La Vista! This was our second stop after a visit in the jungle and we were very much looking forward to staying on the beach. The house is directly on the Beach and the view is right off of a postcard. Truly magnificent. It was HOT when we were there and we all (2 adults/2 boys) used the pool every single day. The pool was magnificent because it is covered and offered some relief from the extreme heat while you also get to enjoy the beach view. The house itself was wonderful - I loved the tile flooring and the layout of the porches and decks. It was very well appointed with plenty of beach/bathroom/kitchen towels. The washer/dryer was a lifesaver after staying in the jungle. The kitchen had everything you would need, plenty of glassware and cookware. The air conditioned worked well. The manager was on point - the WiFi went out during our stay and the manager immediately called the internet company to come troubleshoot - they had it fixed that day after several visits. Leo - the manager - also helped organize a rental car and excursions, and was easy to reach and communicate with. Lots of good restaurants nearby. It was a truly lovely stay and I highly recommend this property. "

"My recent 4-day stay at Thatch Caye Resort was nothing short of amazing. From the moment we arrived, the friendly staff made us feel right at home. The oceanfront cabana room was a dream—waking up to the sound of the waves and the stunning view was a highlight of our trip. We spent our days snorkeling in the crystal-clear waters, and the resort’s team ensured we had everything we needed for a fantastic experience. Everyone was incredibly accommodating, going above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and enjoying our time. One of the unexpected delights was the island’s friendly dogs, who added a unique charm to our stay. If you're looking for a place to unwind and connect with nature, Thatch Caye is the perfect spot. I can't recommend it enough!"

"We loved staying in this home along the nothern part of Placencia Rd away from the cities and crowds with direct access to the sea. Herbert was a fabulous host who was very positive and responsive to all of our inquiries. The home was well-equipped and our 2 young adult children loved having their own floor with their own bedrooms and bathrooms with a kitchen! The construction next door was loud at times, but not the fault of our host. It looks like they were almost finished. A few men approached us at our private pool and front door to sell things, but were polite when we asked them to leave. We loved having our own pool at the house and the kayaks provided were also very fun to use. We highly recommend this property for a relaxing stay in a convenient location to explore both Placencia and mainland sites."

"The property was a little smaller than we expected, so it was a little less ventilated than we hoped. However, the beachfront was very peaceful and mostly quiet. The location is also very convenient. Whenever we had issues Mirko was very responsive and went above and beyond to make sure we enjoyed our stay. Overall we had a wonderful experience and would book again. "
