Thunderbird Lodge - Inside the Park

"We enjoyed our stay at the Thunderbird Lodge for the primary reason that it was at the rim of the Grand Canyon. We were able to have a nice dinner and breakfast at El Tovar dining room and at Bright Angel Lodge Bar. The room was basic but comfortable. There was a mini fridge in the room along with the coffee maker. I would recommend this as an affordable option to stay at the canyon."

"We loved that the location was in the middle of nowhere yet also close enough to the Grand Canyon. There was an issue with the shower door, the toilet, the microwave door handle and the bathroom sink clogging, but they sent maintenance the next day who fixed some of the issues. There were flies and bugs inside the home, but they didn’t really bother us. You get a spectacular view of the Milky Way galaxy right outside the home. I would stay here again."

"Clean little place. Close to Grand Canyon which was perfect. The layout worked great. The only thing we would have liked was mirrors in the bathroom. Otherwise, everything else was great. Would recommend."
