We book a night here, for Father’s Day this year, (2024) I have plan for me and my family to eat in this amazing restaurant on the top of a mountain, highly recommended by the way, sleep near the restaurant and the continue to drive to Chattanooga. All the hotels around the area were over $200 for the night and this hotel was the only one for less than that, no cheap, I most say, but I didn't want to break the bank for just one night. Oh my, what a mistake. I end up paying over $120 for this nightmare of motel, it shouldn’t cost more than $40 to be honest. Let’s begin with the room, the staff couldn’t even start the A/C for us before our arrival in a 100 degree day, the room was an oven, getting our bags down I spot it more than 50 dead bugs behind a chair that is next to bed, find some curly hairs on the bathtub and on the sink, it looks like they only make the beds but did not clean, we manage to lay down and try to get some sleep since it was already pass 10 pm and there was nothing else we couldn’t have done. The room was at 76 degrees the whole night, almost impossible to sleep. Finally the next morning I wake up from a exhausting night to take a shower, it reminded me of my country where the water is cut off for periods of time, no pressure at all it make me feel like it was doing to be cut at any time. Really ! Don’t stay here, don’t do that to your self I learn my lesson I will pay the $200 next time it was not worth saving a couple of bucks.
