"Brilliant hosts who were so friendly and helpful, room was spotless and cool despite the heatwave! Beds super comfy too. Would definitely stay here again, thank you!"
"The communications were great and access to the flat was easy with the instructions given. We were fortunate to be able to squeeze onto the last space on the pavement to park. Right on the promenade so not quiet at night but was easy to walk to everywhere we wanted to go. A plug socket nearer the bedroom mirror for being able to see whilst you do your hair would be fab and bigger mugs for a full size cuppa in the morning. The heaters worked well to warm up the sitting room. The shower could be...

10/10 Excellent
"we were welcomed by Phil on arrival, such a friendly guy who enjoys a chat over breakfast in the morning. He really looked after us and the other guest. The hotel was easy to find, great location for pleasure beach and south pier. Rooms really comfortable and all ensuite. The beds were comfy and tea/coffee in room with mini fridge. Breakfast in the morning was delicious, continental but filling and plenty to go around. We really enjoyed our stay, thanks for the laughs. We will be back :) "
"It was quiet, lots of picturesque views of Blackpool Tower and the promenade and also of the Big One at Pleasure Beach in the distance. The location is ideal as it’s not in the middle of everything going on, staff were very polite and whilst there are facilities like the pool and Sauna etc we didn’t make use of during this stay we would definitely be inclined to make use of them on a future visit!"
"Food was excellent, entertainment was excellent. The only problem was that the extractor fans for the kitchen were just below our bedroom window, room 330 the noise was terrible and we couldn't close the window as it was too hot so it made the room uncomfortable during the day."
"We had a good stay. The Hotel was very nice. Clean through out. Staff were very good. The breakfast was good too. With lots to choose from. One thing that spoilt it. Was the bed being too firm. We wanted to stay another night. But we was quoted even more than the night we had already paid for. "
"Not our first stay at The Big Blue and won’t be our last.
We had 2 double rooms and both were upgraded to deluxe at check in.
The staff work really hard and are very friendly.
Breakfast is amazing! "
"We stayed for 3 nights as we was going to Lytham Festival and it was the perfect little stay. The hosts were very friendly, went out of their way to make sure everything was comfortable for your stay. The breakfast was top notch and they would recommend restaurants in the area if you were looking for something different to eat later on in the day. The rooms are a good size all with ensuite. The rooms are cleaned everyday and are always stocked up with tea, coffee, sugar and milk. There was parking on the front but you have to have a pass for but they will supply you with one. If you can't park on front they have additional parking at the back of the property. Overall we can't find fault with this property or the lovely owners Chris and Nancy. We will be back at some point in the future and this will definitely be our first place to go."
