Dog Friendly with Restrictions: 2 dogs max, no more than 50lbs each. (Cats and other animals are NOT permitted.)
WRISTBANDS ARE REQUIRED FOR ALL GUESTS DURING MARCH & HOLY/EASTER WEEK.

ALL RESERVATIONS ARE SUBJECT TO APPROVAL BY THE SUNCHASE HOME OWNER'S ASSOCIATION/MANAGEMENT. A GUEST LIST WILL BE REQUIRED WITHIN 72 HOURS OF BOOKING AND GIVEN TO THE HOA FOR APPROVAL. ANY RESERVATION THAT IS NOT APPROVED, WILL RECEIVE A FULL REFUND. ALL GUESTS ARE REQUIRED TO CHECK-IN AT OUR OFFICE (3901 PADRE BLVD) AND WILL THEN BE ESCORTED BY OUR STAFF TO THE SUNCHASE, WHERE YOUR CHECK-IN PROCESS WILL BE FINALIZED. ALL GUESTS MUST ARRIVE PRIOR TO 11PM ON THE DATE OF ARRIVAL. GUESTS WILL NOT BE GRANTED ACCESS TO THE CONDO IF ARRIVING AFTER 11PM.

A Beachfront Beauty! Sunchase Beachfront #234 is a beautifully decorated three bedroom/two bathroom condominium! Guests can experience breathtaking ocean views from the oversized balcony facing the beach. The balcony has new patio furniture, providing you with a comfortable space to enjoy sunrises over the Gulf of Mexico! The living and dining areas are all large and offer guests plenty of seating room to relax. There is cable TV that includes Redzone and the NFL channels for you to enjoy. The kitchen is fully stocked with cookware and the kitchen faucet features a filtered water system that is drinkable straight from the tap. The master bedroom entails a King size bed. The first guest bedroom entails a Queen size bed and the second guest bedroom entails two Queen beds making a comfortable accommodation for eight people.

Sunchase Condominiums has many amenities for you to enjoy during your stay including a great pool area! The pool is heated which makes it the perfect spot to relax year round! There is a private beach access with a coded gate and wash off facilities at entrance/exit. The gate is only 50 yards from your condo. Watch out for the SpaceX Launches! Our condo is a short walk to the southern end of South Padre where you can see a front row view of the rocket launches!
There is access to a large indoor gym, two indoor racquetball/hand ball courts, and two outdoor tennis courts. There are outdoor grills available for use and even a fish cleaning station! Sunchase Beachfront also features a coin operated laundry facility with multiple machines for your convenience. The facility is just 30 feet from the condo. Wifi is provided by the condo complex in the common areas only (pool and grounds). Free WIFI is provided inside the condo for guests. Sunchase Beachfront is also gated for extra security and is staffed by 24 hour security.

Here are some good and not so good. Good: Location Steps away from the beach Great communication with the property management Pool is right outside the front door. Great space for a family. Not so good: Place is outdated and needs some serious work. Master bath had a huge water damage on the ceiling that possibly has mold under. The stove is really old and the oven takes a long time to heat up. We tried to overlook the negatives and still had a great time. If this place gets fixed, we will definitely be back.

This property was a great getaway for the family. Great access to the pools & beach. Clean, nice layout, lots of space for a family of 5. Amazing views from the deck.

We arrived on a Saturday. Check in was at 4. We were not able to get in until 5:30, due to the previous guests lost/misplaced a cell phone. I was disappointed due to not receiving a courtesy phone call. When we got in there was a hint of cigarette smoke. The rental agency rep informed us that there are no towels in the master bath and we were told they would bring them by. There was a broken light fixture, that was yo he replaced. That did not happen. In regards to the towels, we had to call them on Monday to bring some to us. On Sunday I was on an excursion with my family when I received a phone call from the rental company. They were asking permission for the owners to access the condo to look for the lost/misplaced phone. I didn’t feel as if I had a choice to decline the request. The condo overall was located conveniently off the main drag. The walk to the beach was quick, in addition to food establishments. The condo was equipped with the kitchen necessities. The master bedroom mattress was a bit too soft for our taste. The condo in itself was spacious. There were 7 of us and all had room to move around.

The inside was nice and clean with a well-stocked kitchen. Beach access is close and easy, and we could watch the waves from the front windows and balcony. The furniture is a little on the worn side, and the property outside could use some tcl. We enjoyed the pool and spent a lot of time on the beach. The outdoor shower to wash off sand helped us keep the apartment cleaner. We were walking distance to good shops and restaurants.

Overall we had a wonderful time. The place was clean and generally things worked. We were disappointed that the jaccouzi was not working since that was one of our main attractions. Also, the dishwasher needs to be replaced as it is super old and most of the tines on the racks to hold the dishes are broken already. Lastly, it's a bit confusing from the pictures that the washer / dryer are actually on in the condo, they are shared and require quarters which are hard to come by during COVID-19 since no one is willing to give them out. Lastly, the grill on the balcony is electric and doesn't really get very hot -- takes a long time to grill anything. The place is kid friendly and all of the other guests staying on the property are super nice. The grounds are clean and the private entraces to the beach are super convenient. Also nice that it's right next door to the McDonalds, which is one of the few places around there that one can get coffee at 4 am :)

I liked the Condo selected however there are items that need immediate attention such as: 1 - there's NO laundry appliances in the unit - HUGE disappointment especially when the listing indicated that it did. The complex has a laundry facility but not the actual unit. 2 - the front & back doors locks need replacement, in multiple occasions the keys to the front door would get stuck. the actual Front door would get constantly stuck as well. 3 - there are no gate cards to the Unit. you have to call the front desk and pray the person is not on the phone chit chatting with someone. An actual resident of the complex had to open the gate for us after waiting over 10 minutes and creating a car line all the way to the main street. 4 - don't expect the ice machine in the fridge to work. It doesn't. 5. the shower heads - It's like taking a shower with a string of water and praying you take all of the soap/shampoo off. 6. Tried calling SPI rental multiple times and no one ever answered.

The property was as described in the listing. It's time to replace the dishwasher, but everything else worked and was extremely clean. We went out and bought a coffee maker that would make more a normal amount of coffee for a condo. The access to the beach was excellent, the view was wonderful and there were many beautiful sunsets. The HOA does a good job of exterior design and maintence. The HOA needs to fix the front gate and the laundry machines. This was our first trip to SPI and the Island is easy to get around and the town is very tourist friendly! Overall we felt we had a great, safe, clean and comfortable place to stay!

We truly enjoyed our time at Sunchase Condos on the Beach. The condo was very clean, check in was fast, and we enjoyed every minute of our trip to SPI! We will be coming back again next year and hopefully many times after that!

The unit is located close to beach accees and pool. The place itself is nothing fancy but has all that we needed for a 4 day vacation. Property management is not too organized on the rentals but friendly to help out. If the price stays the same, i would come back and stay here.

Sunchase is a nice condo setup. The condos provide private access to the beach. The condo itself was very comfortable, good size rooms, decent beds, and plenty of amenities. If we ever go back to Padre, we will definitely book here again.

Very friendly & overall quiet condo complex with beautiful grounds & pools, just steps from the beach. SPI rentals were super professional & responsive. We do recommend a few upgrades & improvements, like complex recycling & high speed Internet. We will provide the condo upgrade suggestions to SPI & I am sure they will address them. The bedrooms don't have a lot of air circulation. If you don't mind using A/C you will be fine. If it wasn't for that, we would definitely return, but we will be looking for a breezier place for next year. Otherwise, we highly recommend this complex for an affordable long term stay with all the amenities.
