Not entirely as it seems

View and closeness to beach was great. Staff that we talked to were very nice. Condo has a great view. The balcony chairs need to be thrown out. They were wicker like and not like the pictures. Two of the four chairs had holes in the seats. All of this chair were seriously uncomfortable to sit on. The barstools were not like the pictures. All were stained by use. Maybe some non fabric stools would be better. Main bedroom had a great view. The bedspread (also not in picture) barely covered the bed. Shower has a wobbly bath faucet. Shower head is nice and tall, but has terrible water pressure. Other room with two queen beds was ok. Shower in the room has a bit of a funk. Shower head looks moldy but it’s just hard water probably. All the beds just plain suck. They are hard and lumpy and really loud. Coffee pot was ok, some coffee filters would have been nice. We had to buy 100 filters for 5 days. It’s like $2…. Come on. Update the pictures or update the condo. These pictures are great and it probably looked that pretty 5 years ago. Just go in with the knowledge that what you see is not always what you get. That being said your close to the beach and you can see it with a sore bum from your balcony.

Comments on our stay at Saida 88-89

We were disappointed in the check in and check out process. 1. We couldn’t use the beach or pool facilities prior to check in. 2. They wouldn’t contact you to let the check in process start until exactly 4:00 and it was located in another building away from the condo. 3. Check out was 10:00 and late checkout wasn’t allowed.

Nice condo!

We had a really fun time staying in this condo! The property had great amenities. The condo cleanliness was 8/10 but not something that would shy me away. The beds need to be replaced but other than that everything else was amazing! We had a really great time!

Labor Day weekend getaway

I was looking forward to my stay on SPI. Unfortunately, our arrival was marred by having to find parking at the property. I had booked a two bedroom condo through SPI rentals, and was told that I could only have one parking spot for a two bedroom condo that allows up to 8 guests. When I did figure out where to park the 2nd vehicle so it wouldn't be towed, I walked into the condo and found the welcome manual, which said I was allowed to have two parking permits since I had a two-bedroom condo. I called SPI rentals and they said No, it's not in the contract. Regardless, I would definitely advise against booking this listing in the future especially through Vrbo, and it's third-party affiliate SPI rentals. The last thing you want to worry about on your relaxing vacation is the possibility of having your vehicle towed.

Was a nice property

We had a very nice stay at this condo. It is located at the end of the hallway so no other guests walked by, it is very quiet. The only thing is that the tv in the master bedroom does not work and it could use some upgraded living room couches but one is there for the beaches.

Great Stay!

My family and I had a great stay here! This is a great place that is close to the beach. The pools weren’t crowded, no loud neighbors, and easy access to the beach. Our condo was moderately updated and clean. Our only complaint would be that we couldn’t get the TV to work in the double bedroom. Other than that, we enjoyed everything!

Good

Everything was amazing except for a few things the beds needs to be replaced in both room very uncomfortable beds. On one of the beds there had no pillows we call the rental place asking them for more pillows they told us they will be there in 45 minutes never showed up they never showed up from the four days we stayed but luckily we were able to find extra pillows stored in a master closet. Other than that everything was good the view is amazing it was very peace and quiet. Would definitely stay here again but the bed needs replacement.

Update need done

Unit was fair, photos online should be updated for accessory. Needs some TLC and a fresh coat of paint. Master bedroom needs a new mattress and box springs. Microwave doesn’t work ( informed rental company). Grounds were very nice

Great stay

Great location, very easy to check in and out. Walking distance of many shops and restaurants. Loved the condo it was very comfortable with great views. Would def stay here again.

Condo location was changed the day we were to arrive.

We were given keys, however, the keys did not fit but there was a key pad. After many calls and wrong info we finally had someone come from office to open condo. I originally wanted to b booked at Isla Grande which is where I thought I was booked. Someone told me that you all do not book Isla Grand properties. So, how was I allowed on the internet to do this. It was just a number of things that did not add up. I was given a wrong keypad code, I repeated it back, the person transposed it. As I said someone had to come help us. The Condo itself was ok; however cleaners did not clean food out from under the dining table or find a brush that was left in the cushion.

Great vacation!

Great location! Beautiful condo ! Room was clean. Beautiful view of the beach and the 3 swimming pools. Beds were comfortable . The lobby smelled of sewer, though. Hopefully problem has been fixed. . Some bath rugs would be great. Looking forward to returning next year.

Inadequate Parking

Property was clean and comfortable. However, lack of parking was a huge issue. We were 8 ladies traveling from different cities in 3 different cars and were allowed only one car on the property. There was no mention of this parking rule when booking the condo. Only after paying deposits and completing contract did I find out about the ridiculous parking rule. I would not stay at this property again.

great space

This was a perfect layout for our family. The spare bedroom was large enough for two full beds so we could put our 3 girls in there and our son could sleep on the pull out couch. Ample furniture in the main living also for us to hang out comfortably. The complex is one of my favorites with tennis courts and plenty of hot tubs and even one heated pool for the winter months.

The Condo was not what I expected.

Out-dated, and needed a deep cleaning. The view was great and location was good. I will not be staying here again, walls dirty, out-dated stove, and kitchen appliances, guest bed broken, and windows dirty.

It ended up working well

I gave 3 stars because it's not a 5 star place. There was always a sewage smell on the ground floor where you enter the building from the parking lot so that was the first impression. you couldn't smell that in the room though so that was good. The Condo was pretty clean and looks like the pictures. I was expecting the balcony to be a little bigger - it is not much bigger than the table and chairs that are on it, but it worked out fine. I was initially frustrated with the place because soon after we got in, the refrigerator started leaking water inside onto all the food and there was a big warning on the fridge to not mess with the temperature (which was set warmer than the default temp) or you could get a fee for having to defrost it. I called SPI rentals and they were responsive. We went to the beach after that so I am not sure what they did, but they did not remove the water (the bottom drawers were still full of water so we just didn't use those). It leaked water again once towards our last day but i just let it be at that point. It would save everyone money to just buy a new one. The A/C worked but to me it didn't really get as cool as you set the temperature to, and there really are just a couple of vents, so there are some dead spots that are warmer. Steak knives were also pretty rusty - those need replaced. And all the pots and pans were non-stick and very scratched up so we didn't end up using those. The walks with our stuff to the beach was a little longer than i had hoped, but it wasn't terrible. It is mainly because you have to go down the elevator and then walk around the back of the building (i was pulling a wagon of stuff) to the nearest ramp. But the elevators were surprisingly fast, so that was nice. This unit is on the 8th floor and there is also an ice machine on the same floor. i was not aware of that our first couple days, but it was very convenient once i found it. i think the listing may say to bring ice, but there is a big ice machine on the same floor. To sum it up, i was initially frustrated with the place and wasn't looking forward to being in this unit, but once we got settled in and got to spend time on the beach it got better. I didn't leave feeling the same way as when I got there. And for the price that we got this for, i would say it was worth it. Next time we go I will probably see what all the options are, but i would definitely keep this on the list as long as it is a good deal

Nice furnishings in an older complex

This unit was decorated lovely and the view was great! It had modest towels and cleaning tools and plenty of dishes to accommodate cooking for seven guests but no hand towels for washing them. It also lacked in the area of extra toilet paper, paper towels, trash sacks and soap. It also needs some touch up paint (especially in the master bath) and new seal in the door to the balcony (the current seal was blowing around showing all the hot air that was coming in and it kept popping open unexpectedly). But the worst things were the ants that kept coming into the kitchen and the dirty old elevators. The pools were clean and had plenty of chairs but the facility over all was showing it's age. It was a decent place to stay but not great.

Beautiful Condo but lacking in comfort

First, I want to be clear that the property management of this unit were great to work with. The were prompt and friendly to fix the little problems that arose. I learned to pay closer attention to the pictures of the interior of the condo. There were no side tables in the living area to use for a drink or book. I pulled a dining room chair next to the couch to use. There was one side table in each bedroom, so one person had no place to put glasses or other items. The beds were comfortable. There were no rugs in the unit except some towel like mats for the shower. We went to Walmart and bought a small rug for the master bath. The balcony has a nice view, but has no comfortable furniture. The good things about this property are its location, its beach access, the beach chairs provided, and the friendly concierges at the desk. We would not rent this unit again.

Very sleek and clean with a great view!

Everything was great, from the check-in experience with SPI Rentals, to the look/feel of the condo. The interior design was one of the main deciding factors in choosing this condo over the vast amount of options available and we weren't disappointed! Everything is top notch and we would definitely recommend this place to others.
